How about 1:31 ? That's the yelp that was used in shows like "TJ Hooker" and "Code Lyoko" and used in movies like "Super Troopers" and "Vamp" (trailer). Hell, It was heard on 5 NHL goal horns: the 1990, 1994 and 1995 Calgary Flames, the 1991 New York Rangers and the 1991 Winnipeg Jets!

@@shaneharrisnj3484 isn't it basically the stock siren a lot of games and shows use? It sounds similar to the one in games like Burnout Paradise for example, I always wondered what model it is

Hello wondering if you could help me out. I am trying to find what the fire alarm at my school was? It was the exact tone of this siren at the highest pitch but it was continuous. I think it gradually get louder as well. I live in the UK if this helps, Sorry that I can’t give many details I am visually impaired The reason I want to know is because I am writing my life story and me being autistic I like to write down the exact model of everything even the computers I had as well thanks

Sounds good except for the last part of the winddown. You know, as *soon as* you switched the tone from wail to yelp I recognized the siren; it appears to be the siren heard in this sound effect: soundideas.sourceaudio.com/#!details?id=7635494 I think an earlier variant of this, which I believe was called the "PA20", was the siren heard in Adam-12 (along with Dragnet, Emergency!, & Ghostbusters).

I have examples of all three variants of the blue faced Interceptor sirens. A PA20 (like the Adam-12 siren), late 1960s PA20A like the siren in the video, and a PA20A series 2E (1970s version with high-pitched tones). I prefer the sound of the late 1960s versions (series 2B, 2C, and 2D). I remember hearing these sirens when I was a kid (about 50 years ago), and they sounded way better than the high-pitched PA15A series 1E and PA20A series 2E models that came shortly after.

@@nmtoc I think it'd be great if you demonstrated your PA20 (provided it works of course) as there doesn't seem to be any KZbin videos of one in action at the moment.
