Federal Signal 2T22 (w/ Blocked Top Intake) Siren Test - Shelby, NC

This siren is part of the Cleveland County Outdoor Warning System, and it is tested on the first Saturday of every month weather permitting at 12:00 pm, and is controlled by the Cleveland County Fire Department and Emergency Management Agency

I had to pick a siren somewhere in Cleveland County, and since we have recorded 3 of the XT22's, I thought why not hit up this siren. This one is located at Shanghai Fire Department in Shelby, North Carolina. All I have to say really is that this siren has a blocked top intake, and it works. Nothing more to it really. Luke (GSPiedmont425), Brendan Williamson and I met up with Michael (ClayRanger143) at the siren.

I recorded a 3t22 and the video made it sound like this. Funny thing is that it sounded fine in person. Apparently, the noise reduction thought the high tone was too loud but not the low tone.

It sounds lower but it’s not sick it blocked an port so the lower port was the only one you could hear

It's a Fire siren. There should be a longer delay in the Attack tone when doing the fire signal.
