This was the best electronic siren federal ever made.

Right next to the Unitrol 80k imo!

0:52 actually, this tone reminds me of South Korean ambulance sirens

It was the best in that it was solidly built and there were no changes to the circuitry over the course of production.

0:51 SOUNDED LIKE A FAST powercall siren.

You can actually modify the wiring in these things and make a powercall warble tone

to me it sounds like a korean emergency vehicle siren

Cool siren! Reminds of the sirens many emergency vehicles were equipped with when I was a kid. However, I really don't like it when people put the selector between yelp and hi-lo or between wail and yelp. I've been around emergency vehicles my entire life and have NEVER heard a siren used that way when responding to an emergency. Just because you can make it do that doesn't mean you should. I'm sure Federal Signal NEVER intended for it to be used that way.

More of a Whelen person here, but this is one of the few Fed Sigs I like. The other three are the PA300, the Omega 90, and the higher pitched 80K

The startup of the PA200 sounds like from the documentary of the bombing of the WTC on February 26th 1993 from the documentary series Minute by Minute and from Rescue 911: Remote Family vs Exploding Furnace
