Singles match is a grueling game, both mentally and physically. Hunter held on his nerve, outplayed Fed in his accuracy, inside out, down the alley and court movement. Fed underestimated Hunter’s ability and never regained his footing despite a few short lived moments of momentum. The gold medal win last month for Hunter gave him the mental strength to outlast Fed.
