Very good questions complimented by very good answers by Fedor. I'm relatively new to the sport of MMA and just started looking in to Fedor Emelianenko and what his significance was in MMA. I will take his advice to heart and will try to show love to my motherland :)

well, I don't believe anything if I'm not sure. I believe everything is predetermined, but in a physical sense. I rather don't think about it. I try to do what is right and I don't need a higher power for that. doing good out of fear of god and out of hope for heavenly award is way worse than not believing in anything. If there is God and if he is so good, he will understand. If he won't, he isn't worty of praise.

I think in this case religion is one of the reasons he fucked up people for 10 years... I am really spiritual man, i dont believe in any religion like christianity, islam, hinduism, etc.. I made my own believes through many spiritual experiences and i must say that my own understandings in god are making me stronger and giving me strength to go on. So no doubt about the power of believe.. :)
@Houndfromhell766 жыл бұрын
Like you say, that is your own spiritual experience. Spirituality can be found in religion too. People tend to look to the east while you can find your spritiuality in your roots too. I am Catholic and it gives me my own spiritual experience. Just like for Fedor. He found that in Orthodox christianity. In the end, everybody has his own Truth and none of them are wrong. And yes, there are evil people mixed among the catholics, and muslims, and jews, etc, etc. But you will find them everywhere even in Buddhism, and other spiritual paths. Peace.

I really like him. Its funny that you see this in most great fighters, they go on a long streak of wins than loose in a big upset, sound familiar? I find it has to do with 5 things: 1- after so many wins, you don't train as hard, as you are so confident of yourself, you underestimate your opponent, or you get too distracted by mainstream media, and other things due to your success, thus your not as prepared as you should be. 2- You get too used to a fixed fighting approach, and you don't alter it against someone who counters that style extremely well, again, because of overconfidence. 3-You have won so much that you have lost the thrill, you are no longer as hungry to win as you where before. 4-you're not as young anymore, so your performance, endurance is not as good. 5- you get to the top of the chain and now have to face the very best there is, and its a whole new ball game. I believe he would have done much better in the last fights he lost, if he where at his top performance and still hungry for the win. He has nothing to be ashamed of, he still will go down in history as one of the very best ever, a legend.
