Use FSR and I think you'll get much better performance/temps :). I was very impressed by it when I tried it before... gives older cards a new lease on life.

new fedora 39 install, have installed mangohud and goverlay. Followed your instructions: No hud is displayed during gameplay (attempting Halo MCC in Steam). What do you recommend, this is getting frustrating

There’s so many variables. Are you AMD or nvidia? Gnome or KDE? Wayland or xorg? All these can make a difference. I’m running KDE on xorg using an AMD card. I have not tested in Fedora 39 yet. That’s also a variable.
