Hi , love your video. In the second method why are you looping it round cos you can feed in the hair just like method one and feed in one strand each time you are on the right for the same effect. You are looping only to unloop it when you feed in the second strand of the braiding hair. Beautiful results for both methods x

@Dopeaxxxpana7 жыл бұрын
I don't braid with beeswax that's a little too thick for me lol, but I would def use something thicker for 4C, most likely Murrays Edge Wax: Extreme Hold.

Kay Ciera what hair typing system do you use? There are only 2 types of 4 4a and 4b people often say 4c. Because they are really tight coils but any coils in particularly course hair is 4a. 4a means course coily [spiral curls] 4b means course zigzag [curls] for more info www.andrewalkerhair.com/whats-my-hair-type/african-american-kinky-hair-types/

This is my go to video for feed ins (the first method). I unsuccessfully tried to accomplish feed ins, for years. It ALWAYS ended with me being sooooo freaking frustrated because I always failed, end result was hair tangled. I would watch the video again, start the braid over.... hair looked like I tied it in knots, unbraided and watched a whole different video. You delivered me from that cycle. My feed ins are so seamless now! This is the first time I have ever seen this method. Thank you queen.

This was an AWESOME tutorial. Thank you for EXPLAINING your hand movements!! My eyes, brain and fingers were FINALLY in it together. Instead of my eyes being crossed like the hair in the second technique, my brain CUSSING going WTF every 2 second, and my fingers at a complete standstill bcuz my eyes and brain are NOT IN IT TOGETHER AND NEED COUNSELING for this sh!t! The one most KZbinrs use seems arse backwards to me. NOT knocking the technique, but my brain is saying WHY are you going up there and bringing in that last piece of hair? LOL! Versus your method flows with the train of thought when one is braiding! Now to find me a guinea pig😈😂.

How do you know how much hair to add in each time you feed in hair?
@Dopeaxxxpana7 жыл бұрын
I think a great way to know how much hair it add in is to look at the strands that you are braiding, becuase you want your piece of hair that you are adding in to be the same size, so that naturally as the braid reaches the back of the neck your pieces should be getting bigger. So when you start out, the add in hair is super small, you will feel like its basically nothing , and by the time you get to the nape of the neck you are adding in larger pieces.

OK, thank you for your quick response 😉

Your video is amazing. I make braids since I’m 15 ( I’m 19) and I never really know how to do feed in braids. Your video really helped me !

I’m just learning to do feed in braids, did my 3rd client today hence 3rd time doing feed in braids ..I use the 1st method like you but I’m noticing that sometimes I have issues with my braid turning over if you know what I mean, like it doesn’t stay straight on the scalp or “glued” on the scalp (I ask my clients to hold down the braid as I braid and add hair to prevent that)..I’ve noticed that maybe when I add the hair, I tend to go under as opposed to « on top » more like you , maybe that’s the problem..Any tips you can share please ?...I’ve also tried the second method, I feel like it makes the hair more stable for me for, it doesn’t turn over, but I also have issues with the other end of the added hair pulling as I braid, so it slows me down a bit more .. I’ll keep practicing, thanks in advance for any tips
