I've been having trouble getting any feedback. I used to write handwritten notes thanking the customer for their order and asking them for a review while letting them know they can contact me if there are any issues. I think I have 1 review in total. But hey, I'd rather have no reviews than bad reviews. I must be doing something right.

I personally have never done that simply because it requires you to upload a picture with it and I normally don't add pictures unless its a condition issue

I need help I sent a card with tracking it was delivered but customer said it was wrong card. He was my only customer for that day I don’t mess up on 1 single. Will I need to issue a refund. I’ve already contacted tcg about this guy being a scammer.

I'd make sure this resolves through TCG Player first. Let them see if they have a history of doing this. Once things have been investigated, block the buyer by going to the order and up at the top of the screen it should give you a block option.

@@AshenWingzTCG Yeah i opened a ticket with TCG it sucks cause this was my first huge sale and i get hit with wrong card its beyond frustrating when you know you only shipped one item that day

@@SuperStatch I'm sorry to hear that. Sadly you'll expect to take losses like that because not everyone is honest. Its a very he said she said situation and usually the seller is at fault simoly by the terms. Best you can do is block this person if you're 100% confident you sent the right card and hopefully you wont run into him again

I sold a set of 3 cards that were accidently over packaged and cost the buyer in postage. Do I reimburse thru paypal or TCG directly somehow?

I would ask the buyer how much the postage cost and then give them a partial refund if they want that.

@aclimate3862 no problem! Sometimes you gotta take those negative reviews and learn from them. With enough positive reviews, they end up outweighing the negative. Keep learning :D

My second order was a big one I sent 450$ worth of cards for a total of 3 cards and the customer says he only got 1 but the envelope contained 3 copies so idk what to do because I didn’t think to video tape the mailing process and it’s just my word over there’s and I’m taking a huge hit if TCG decides that the buyer is right

In that situation you can always escalate it with TCGPlayer. Give them your explanation that you wouldn't have sent 3 cards in 3 separate envelopes. Sometimes people dont open up the entire package or top loader and think they only got one card so hopefully its just that

@@AshenWingzTCG well I mean the 3 copies were on top of each other rolled in bubble wrap if he saw one copy he saw all 3 which is why I think I’m dealing with a scammer this is only my second sale on TCG and I think he’s trying to take advantage of that

If it had tracking, you should provide that to TCGPlayer support and make a ticket with them. Otherwise just make a ticket with TCGPlayer anyway and explain the situation. I'd also suggest blocking the seller so you don't buy from them in the future

@@AshenWingzTCGone more question something I haven’t seen anyone answer . What happens if the item I return ends up getting lost on the way back to the seller? Would the seller need to issue a refund? Or would it depend on who provided the label that’ll be held accountable?

@@HTX98 At that point I would contact TCGPlayer Support and open up a ticket with them. It really depends on the dollar amount in these cases. A $2 card is probably just gonna be considered a loss, but a $200 card would and should have some kind of tracking on it, which it would be wise to get that information and have the mailing service figure out where the package is.

The condition stuff really stresses me out because even with those standards me and the customer might have different ideas of what the condition really is. I guess I just need to get so proficient at grading my cards that I know I'm right now matter what.

Yeah but at that point I wouldn't even buy from TCGPlayer. Its not a site for perfect condition and if the card is near mint but the centering is off, you can't say it isn't near mint. If you're buying raw in an attempt to grade, you'd probably be better off sticking to facebook groups

I sent a giratina vstar gold card, the customer said they never got it, they got a refund from tcg player on my behalf without me even knowing, and they annotated that the customer refuses to ship back in case they do find the item. I think rhis person is not legitimate . But oh well, ai openned a case with usps and I biught insurance, hopefully I get my money back.

I hope you do too! Unfortunately, alot of sellers fail to realize the awful tactics some people use to get free cards from people, so its always good to account for losses like this.

You can also have tcg player look into the buyer and see if he has done multiple returns. They will check their activity for anything suspicious for you, and tcg will flag their account to keep track if they abuse the return policy in the future.

Recently , I was able to buy mtg cards like two cards, nothing expensive. So the next time, I went to tcgplayer to buy cards that are worth like 30 bucks. Tcgplayer, for whatever reason, will now only give me a full refund. I also have changed accounts, and still, the problem persists. I feel like I'm banned from tcg.
