SWEET JESUS THANK YOU! I have searched for this song for the better part of 16 years! I only knew the rhythm and not a single lyric. And, being an African, you can bet your nuts none of my friends would know this at all, let alone by the rhythm. I searched for so long! Uncovering many of my favorite childhood songs in the process...just as recently as yesterday, I rediscovered Movies by Alien Ant Farm... But just when I was about to give the F up, I tried one more time by searching for "punk hits of the 2000's" ... and here I am...at the 25th song in the playlist... The moment I heard the familiar tune, I was instantly flashed back to being a young teen jumping on the couch and shouting the "lyrics" along with my little sisters... I feel so effing happy! Happy New Year everyone! May we all find all that we're looking for!

This is the very first song i played when i got to my university room in September 2001. First thing i did was plug in my Panasonic stereo, whip out the Feeder album, and play this track. I layed down on my bed, and thought to myself: "I think we're gonna make it". I will never forget those years. Life hasn't quite planned out the way I'd hope after uni, and its been a rollercoaster to say the least, but i will always have these small moments.

This song is and will ALWAYS BE Gran Turismo 3. I've never watched this video, but it's so 2000 ahahah Ok so, by reading a few comments, I understand one of the members passed away, so I look it up and... Jon Lee, the drummer, passed away in January 7 2002 by suicide, which remains a mystery as of today. But hear this. Gran Turismo 3 came out in 28 April 2001, so when WE WERE PLAYING GT3, Jon Lee was still alive, but less than 12 months later, the tragedy would arrived. Life is really unpredictable. I just know that I love these songs. Feeder rocks. Forever.

@@undergroundkingz7969 Probably because they fell out with their massive american label over the album inbetween high and this album, yesterday went too soon and it never got an american release, Meaning all that touring in the us came to nothing. So by the time echo park came out with buck rogers in 2001, even though they had finally broke through in the uk, in the us most rock fans had forgotten about them and the pop punk scene already had plenty of bands similar to feeder (even if feeder were much better than all of them combined)

Remember seeing the video for the first time back in the summer of 2010, at my nan’s house - I think I saw it on either Kerrang or Scuzz (can’t remember which one) on the list of best rock anthems of all time. It was strange becaue I do remember playing GT3 and humming the tune, though I was very young at the time and forgot about the songs. I instantly became hooked with the band. Having listened to all of the albums through and through, I think it’s fair to say that Jon was a crucial part of the Feeder sound - in the same way Jimmy Chamberlin was and is to the Pumpkins. Great to see that the boys are still going. Great memories...rest in peace, Jon.

I don't think you'll read this as it was such a long ago ! But, please remember Jon Lee ! And don't believe what it had been said regarding his suicide ! All bull ! He never ever laid his hand on a woman ! It was such a DISGRACE ! THEY CAME UP WITH ! I'll NEVER forgive them for what they did to Jon !

That's good ! I can't tell you why & all ,but if this song reminds you of your old flame ,then you are not that wrong ! This was originally meant to be a lot harder song for a rock guitar song about two kids had dreams to be rockstars ! This was meant to express the youth & young loves & the importance of not losing all of that ! The sensations ,youth ,dreams & hopes ,& being yourselves ! Please remember Jon ! Jon Lee ,the greatest rock drummer ! Also a very good composer/ lyricist. 🎵🥁💜

I’ve always wondered why Feeder songs were so popular with the Gran Turismo series because so many featured in the early games. I now realise it’s because their just awesome songs

Jon would had been so elated to hear that ! He would had become 52 if he lived ! ( on 3/28 /20 ) I miss him everyday ! Please remember Jon Lee ! And please don't believe what they reported of his suicide's reason ! As it was all bull ! Big fat lies !!! Jon was the SWEETEST MAN I've ever known who never slapped a woman ! He would had been the one to stop it from happening if he saw others trying ! 🥁🎵💜

Alright, let's sum this up. What didn't I spell right? I would rather be a pleb then a posh snob, and thirdly, I thought we having a civilized conversation, but then you go out and start unnecessarily calling people irrelevant names. And you're the one calling me a pleb.
