Great few hours and not covered in fish snot, just shows it’s not all about carp to get bites😱 and enjoy fishing. That feeder you used, they do make and work very well, seem to stand up to constant casting very well. 👍👏👏

Hello Tom, could I ask you a question re reel line. I only fish the waggler and slow sinker all through the year for F1's in a open water venue that catches the wind. I want a line that sinks like a brick similar to Maxima and the durability of Matrix Horizon. I've tried sinking feeder mono but tends to suffer badly with memory which leads to line twizle after a short time. Casting can be every 30 seconds in summer so needs a line that's robust. I normally use the line clip to try and cut down with line bowing due to the wind so it takes some punishment. Using .20 Horizon at the moment but it doesn't like sinking even flicking the rod tip, but it's the best I've tried so far. Any thoughts please.

Try a not to strong mix of washing up liquid, on the line/spool at start of session. You could cable tie a small piece of sponge to rod rest, and add mix. It’s a great degreaser and will help sink your line, just put rod on rest/sponge and wind in to add a little if you think it’s worn off, or line not cutting under quickly. Well worth trying👍
