Gonna try FerAppease on heifers when we A.I. this spring. We'll see if this improves the conception rate.

Have you tried multimin90 at vaccination time? Low dose. It seems to help a lot. We throw out the green selenium salt blocks. That helps also.

​@@sandsockI second this. We are very copper deficient in our area. We don't put any sulphur salt out. We added selenium salt, we give low dose multi-min, and a copper bolus. Cattle are also on a high copper supplement tub. We saw a good increase in our pregnancy results.

@@altonemery9526 we add about 2quarts of a magnesium selenium mineral, to every feed batch. But the green blocks replaced giving selenium shots. I think we have less retained placenta and a extremely high preg rate recently

Cattle have to have the genetics for USDA PRIME to be able to grade it. Feeding to elephantine end weights will not allow cattle to grade prime or choice if they don't have the genetic ability to do it.

I've fed cattle in kansas and had a few grade prime from sets of 1-2 arkansas calves while the rest mainly choice on 200 days so I think you're mainly correct.
