I remember seeing them first time seeing a live band they were an opening act for candle box n guster at lupos club in providence Rhode island right after the can't hardly wait movie came out n it was my first mosh pit n first song I learned by ear on my Yamaha acoustic that I've had for 34 yrs but have only been playing for real for 30yrs first 4 yrs I only could play it like a piano I wasv10 n begged for 3 yrs for xmass for it idk y but it's just as good as a Gibson Les Paul or anything acoustic guitar worth thousands the wood was aged it's a warm smooth bright sound ty feeder for ur music RIP ty for giving that song to the 1990s

Remember this video quite well. Thanks for posting it. If memory serves the band really hated this video for the track as it was needed for US promotion and was badly arranged. Really miss Jon when I watch these old videos. What a drummer and bloke.

Wish this video was included in the cant hardly wait dvd. i dig the smash mouth song also but I love this one also. Ashaem cant hardly wait did not make big money. I would love a sequel 20 years later to see all the storylines tht were advertised at the end of the movie.

Can't Hardly Wait" is one of a small group of teen movies from the last few generations that has heart which is even remotely close to the John Hughes classics of the eighties! This song fits it's overall tone perfectly. Ah the memories.My other two picks are Trojan War from ‘97 and of course American Pie from ‘99.

I remember when Seth Green was talking about this video and he was saying how awkward it was shooting it because they had to stand still and in these odd poses the entire time. That they kept having to do retakes because they would crack up laughing.

Dam right it so perfect that snare right before the ending chorus sweetest used to get chills hearing the build up then the drummer smashing the bubble the music made n letting the song wash over me ,it was better than any high I got it's a proven scientific fact once u used drugs u can never feel as happy u were as a kid n they skip the snare part from the drummer wtf
