100% agreed Marcus. Definitely their best album. From start to finish - great songs one after another. Grant and Co. can be very proud of this one

I thought this was one of the weakest tracks on the album until I saw the video. Now I love it. It's weird how TV works sometimes...

Feeder at their best - love this band. All the shit they've gone through, and they are still producing quality music. Well done guys. :)

It's really disappointing that Feeder's preivous two albums (Silent Cry & Renegades) and their singles didn't get many views on here...however, their latest single (Borders) has over 100,000 views in under two weeks! That's something to smile about :-)

The single is out now actually! I was able to download it today for some odd reason! I've listened to the instrumental tracks and The Crypt sessions. The Crypt sessions are acoustics of the songs 'Tracing Lines' and 'Silent Cry'! :) 'Tracing Lines' sounds slower, but it's really nice, whereas 'Silent Cry' is just something incredible! :)

there older videos are so much more different, they bear no resemblence whatsoever to the more recent ones, that also goes for there music as well to an extent, it just mirrors the times and how things have changed
@Feederinourhearts15 жыл бұрын
yeah you're comletely right the old polythene solos *loves* anyway if you think about it Silent Cry has got 4 or 5 good guitar solos, we hadn't seen many over the past few years...! so let's hope for the future.

Their third best video!! Love it to death :P There are much better songs on the album ("Itsumo" and "Silent cry" IMHO), but still 5 stars :D

@Feederinourhearts15 жыл бұрын
agreed on Morning life - perfect song and agreed on Silent cry: too poppy for my liking, not bad but not so amazingly good yet there are more solos, this is a fact I like. the only newer songs that are perfect in my opinion are Save us, Lost and found, Burn the bridges and Purify. Basically all their older tracks were perfect instead! When I heard the newer tracks on the singles I just though "Oh great, they're perfect again". But it was an illusion ;(

miss you is one of their best songs what I don't like about Silent cry is just that it's a bit poppy, just a bit! It kinda annoys me now when I listen to it, but that's probably because I have listened to it every day every second from its release day! Silent cry is a good album no doubt. But it kinda lacks of some distinctiveness from other indie records. The only songs I'd never stop to listen to are the more rocking ones: Who's the enemy, Sonorous, Miss you, Yeah yeah

is it just me or.....is the whole band looking beautiful here? lol

They do deserve much greater success. Hardly anyone knows of them over here in Australia. I do wish for them to get to #1 at some stage in their career. That'd make me a happy chap. Perhaps album #7 will deliver that alluding #1 chart position. Nevertheless, I LOVE Feeder, my favourite band, and I love this song and video. Like most, I was hoping Itsumo would be single #2 from Silent Cry. 2.41 in the video is amusing, Taka haha. His hair has changed...

FAM is a great song but it's too soft for me it great in some depressed or sad mood, Pushing the senses and Comfort in sound are perfect albums in those kind of moods but when I want rock, then it's go o be real rock. Polythene, Echo Park...

@Feederinourhearts15 жыл бұрын
yeah Grant's songwriting is a lot different. more "banal", "gerenic" I'd say. Lyrically, Slent cry is their worst record along with PTS, which didn't have bad lyrics, but they were just bit too ripetitive. There are songs with good lyrics (Fires, Itsumo, Sonorous, Yeah yeah, Every minute) some average ones and others who've got frankly terrible lyrics (Miss you and We are the people) by the way, did you hear Seven Sleepers and Snowblind? what do you think about them?
@SWTCH1NGSIDES11 жыл бұрын

I must say I don't always agree with feeders single choice. On comfort in sound love pollution or moonshine would have been brilleant singles and its the same with yesterday went to soon and polythene, songs like dry, evergreen, change, perfect day and descent would have done wounders for feeder

@connorjoe4 Definitely a lack of promotion. And rock isn't that popular anymore, more like Hip-Hop and new DnB like Chris Brown, most of them with dance parts in it, like Black Eyed Peas.
