Nice one Jamie. Good to see you having some fun on the pole mate. I've had carp up to 20lb on the 16-18 slik which handled the 20lb unit from Bolingey with ease. Lindholm is on my Bucket list

Great video Jamie. Especially the pole section. Is the MTX1 Powerpole a stiff pole? It certainly looks it.

Hi Jamie great videos. Could you recommend a decent pole for a beginner? I have a middy X white knuckle carp pole but i have lost an elastic and a top piece completely broke in half during the last week! I’m wondering whether it’s the pole and it having no side puller or my bad angling skills! many thanks Connor!

Does this mean jamie you will be fishing more matches that does include pole fishing instead of feeder only matches when matches do resume I think you would do good I no at the moment you are just pleasure fishing but give in go Jamie you might be amassed how good you could do all the best Jamie keep the videos coming

Oh mate that was the plan for most of this year but things have obviously changed and it's just been making 'pleasure fishing' a bit more interesting and I thought you'd like a change and enjoy watching a float for a change mate :)

I think you've just exposed a difference between you and me, I'd most likely of blanked that day. No way could I focus on my fishing with all those B212's flying around. Aviation ha been my first love since I was a baby 56 years ago. But angling runs a very close second. Well, my son Dan took me out for my birthday for a day at Watmore farm fishery. I went on a feeder with 6mm pellets and F1 flavoured sweetcorn. Never known any thing like it, the bait was being attacked on the way down, nealy every cast. I missed dozens of bites, I just couldn't time it right while the corn was being taken on the drop. My boy landed over 60 fish on the wag with maggot. I stuck to my guns (stubborn old twit), and banked 20. Best of the day was a perch just under 2lb. But every fish was a delight to have. My Dan also caught far too much sun, and has blisters across his shoulders. On the way home my old Focus gave up the ghost rendering car-less for the time being. Glad to see you so upbeat and back on the bank. Take care my friend.
