I agree. Currently raising chickens and I am already using banana peelings. Is possible for the machine to be multipurpose for example using g to chop cabbage, watermelons etc to make it easier for the farmers.

@@ampehsteveedemkwameduke35 Great hearing from you. Well if the practice is not well regulated,it can affect your chicken. Forexample it's risky to feed layer birds below 4 months on banana peelings and broilers below one month as this can lead to stunted growth to the birds.. Then also we try as much as we can to expose the peelings to sunshine to reduce the sup content before we chop them. And again we regulate the amount we give to our birds per day,we recommend 4 to 5 kg of the fresh banana peelings per day per 100 birds. And again it's best practiced with local chicken and the improved ones compared to the pure layers and broilers . Hope this answers your question. Otherwise thanks for sticking around

For sure it can't be the banana peeling alone,these are just compliments,we also provide the main chicken feed (the maize brand mixed with some simple concentrate,lime,premix and animal salt). However we cut the quantity of the main chicken feed by some percentage for example like we are supposed to provide 12kg of feed to 100 mature chicken each day,we give them 10kg and 4kg of the banana peelings.

For sure am sorry for delaying to respond,I couldn't see this comment in time but it's really not good to feed chicks to banana peelings...And it will depend on the type of broilers otherwise we feed the peelings to mature chicken especially the layers and local chicken

Surely, the panga and board eill.not get the size required. You might get huge sizes which will.choke the birds. So machine is the way to go because the sizes will be palatable.

@@dalisozulu1855 We give around 4kg of the peels per 100 mature chicken, remember it's just a compliment feed, however sometimes we replace 4 kg of the main chicken feed with the peels(out of the 12kg we are supposed to give 100 chicken per day,we only give them 8kh plus 4 to 6 kg of the peelings

Thanks for the comment. That could be true but from experience our birds have done so well with these peeling however we subject them to sunshine first to reduce on the sup and also we don't give them to chicks where stunted growth is possible,we feed them to chicken of 4months and above
