I’m stunned by the negative comments here. You share a positive with people and they will tear apart and nit pick everything that can be a plausible negative. These deer are already domesticated. People don’t eat as well as these animals but the same people will criticize the diet. People place collars on their dogs and let them run in the park loose yet criticize others with kind hearts when they use it against hunters for protection as they are pets to not be shot at! Come on people, get a clue, they love and take care of God’s creatures. It’s common sense they love them. Take the plank out of your own eyes before taking the speck of kindness from another! Keep up the kindness of heart in your love for Milburn & Lucy!

Judy, "And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved." ~Matthew 24: 10-13. Not in my 50 years on this earth have I seen the love of so many grow cold and with such lawlessness. We must be ready to give an account when He returns. Thank you for defending the Houstons.

That's the same way I feed feral or stray cats, I have one cat that I've been feeding for 10 years, but she won't even let you pet her, she hisses. Others have let me pet them - to an extent. 2 years ago, one of the feral kittens was curious, and when I opened the door to feed them and she just marched right in, ate some of my cat's food, jumped on the couch and went to sleep! So I figured that she found her home. My cat (another female) sat and watched her, then went over to her very slowly and started cleaning her. It was so precious, now they act like sisters - they sleep together, eat together, follow each other everywhere, play with each other... it's a joy to watch. And in the evening, they're always either laying at my feet or next to me on the sofa. They're my babies.

@patriciasmith7074

The little cat that came in was probably a dumped or lost pet because she marched to the sofa. The deer is smarter than you, the pits of cherries, peaches and other stone fruits have cyanide inside and can kill. Grapes and raisins are also bad for dogs so I would assume it would hurt deer also. Feed them some cracked corn that you buy at the feed store.

@@TwinEagleRanch For us humans, get a fine Italian or German bread made with unbleached flour, zero sugar, zero HFCS corn syrup in any way in it, and no oils in it For the deers, maybe better to have something more firm and crunchy, like celery and lettuce, maybe even some thin carrots, and wean them off by gradually adding more of natural field vegetation.

We do plant over a hundred acres of food plot a strictly for the wildlife. So we do fee a lot of deer, elk turkeys and everything else! Lol. That’s so much. May God Bless! jimmy

@ShellG.

Yah, they're not foraging in the woods like they should be. I'm afraid that these people have created a real problem for those deer. And you can't just 'undo' this...they will get aggressive if they aren't fed. It's sad and bothersome that so many people think this is a good thing. Leaving out a couple scraps like apple cores or carrots from time to time is one thing, but this is going to shorten the life span of the deer.

I met Jimmy a couple years ago up near Fayetteville Arkansas at a Walmart. My family was there for a state baseball tournament. He was up there with his boat and I spoke with him for about 20 minutes and told him about my love for the outdoors and watching him on tv when I was a kid. He was so nice and receptive to my family. God bless you Jimmy and family. Thank you for bringing your private life out to the public and allowing us to watch. Also got my hat signed which I haven’t worn since. 👍🏻

When I was a kid growing up in Kansas I loved watching on Saturdays Jimmy Houston and Herald Ensley. Of course it was best when we got to go fishing and hunting ourselves. But on the weekends that we had to stay home we'd break away from cutting wood or fixing the vehicle or whatever it may be so that we could watch those 2 outdoor shows. Usually mom would get out some pie or cookies or something and dad would drink some coffee and tell me stories about his childhood during commercials. My dad past away in 2012 but I'll always remember the good times. Watching this video I would absolutely love to get to hang out with Jimmy in his elements. Just a down to earth guy. He probably has enough wealth that he would never need to work again but he's so humble and finds the simple things in life the best.
