I just got my feeding tube in march, I’be been on hydration through two ports and now a PICCline for a year. Now that I have a feeding it’s a whole process to learn all over again. You’re videos truly make me feel like I can do this and find a way to not feel/look sick (more than necessary) when I want to go out! I love to learn how your mom made the adjustment for the tubing at the bottom! (That’s such a useful idea)

I think it's wonderful that you are doing this. It shows shows you can have a completely normal life and still live it to the fullest. Your so beautiful and so bubbly. Keep up the great work, I don't have a feeding tube but I think a video about a backpack tutorial would be awesome. I'm sure there are so many smaller kids or even adults who would live this. Maybe you can even start making them and selling them. Your mom can get a trademark. That would he awesome!

Thank you so much and that would be a great idea! I’ll definitely have to look into that, I would love that ❤️

I have the same pump, bags, etc. but I am using the Vital HP right now since I had protein calorie malnutrition, (which I am out of barely but thankfully at this point trying to maintain progress since I likely have more surgeries in my future). It is nice to see more tube awareness on social media. I use a cream for my granulation tissue but I do have silver nitrate sticks if I want to use them. My daughter is a tubie too but has different issues so I was already somewhat familiar with tube issues before I developed my need for a tube

Watching to get ideas! Supplies to vent and drain a gtube isn't much, but I'm shocked by the amount just by adding the separate jejunostomy

Are the backpacks that you modified the Hadley and the small Essentials backpacks? Also, what size grommets did you use?
@kristinamathias89015 жыл бұрын
Alexa Claven yes they are and the grommet is an inch. You want to make the cut for the whole a little smaller than the size of the grommet ♥️

I have been modifying my own backpacks for a while now. I learned how easy it is to put in grommets. I use the medium essentials backpack. what are the dimensions on the small essentials backpack? I also posted a vid of my backpack that I modified. @@kristinamathias8901
