I just recently found you through your boba content, and I've been binge watching all of your videos since! I love your energy, and it's nice to see representation on social media! (I'm Chinese as well :D) I think my favorite spot is any place with noodles, especially niu rou mian, or any dim sum place with xiao lom baos. (That's super broad but OH WELL EHEHEH)

There’s also a place called Hunan house which is nearby one of the tourist merch places you went to they offer a $9 lunch meal. It comes with your choice of entree, 2 scoops of rice, a side of soup AND a milk tea or lemon tea!!! All that for $9 literally my favorite lunch place to go to :D

Yes, more food tours please. It’s fun to see where you go and gives me ideas where to try next. I used to go to SF Chinatown all the time as a kid because my grandparents lived close too. Now I live farther away and it’s harder to go there

Yes!!! SF Chinatown!!!!! I rarely get to go there and I live in SF. My favorite place to eat at is Dol Ho restuarant. I've been going there since i was a kid.

I've noticed in a lot of your recent vids the lapel mic audio mainly comes out of one ear which makes it kinda hard to listen to. Like in my right ear its really loud but in my left its pretty soft and muffled??? Just an FYI. Gr8 food

They shoul've put "sauerkraut " on top of that hotdog because that's a NYC thing since I grew up there ( I know all about eating hotdogs with those toppings). You can try it yourself at home. :)

i lived in the Bay area in the mid 90's when i was stationed over in Alameda. SF china town was so different back then, but literally 2/3 of the places you went to were around back then and i have eaten and loved them all. one day i will go back there.

Your recommendations are pretty spot on! ❤ Has anybody gone to pricey Mister Jiu's and loved it? I ask because I've eaten at their casual restaurant Mamahuhu and thought the chicken sandwich was too sweet, not in a good sweet way like San Tung.

The shark fin dumpling might be so named because the pleated portion of the dumpling slightly resembles a shark's fin. I don't know. It could be the same naming convention used to name the pineapple bun. Because it looks like the exterior skin of a pineapple. And, yeah, I'd never seen a sticky rice bun like the one in the video. But, I like how you can eat it without touching the rice. As if it were a cha siu bao almost.

I still remember i-Cafe used to call Lucky Cafe back in the day. My dad would wait for me there during his lunch break and meet up with me and my mom. But that was many, many years ago. Glad to see the bakery is still there.

❤️ SF Chinatown. A must for me, is the historic Far East Cafe on Grant. My earliest experience as a kid in the 70s was there.

Chinatown needs to install more public picnic tables? So many good "food to go" places but not many spots for locals and tourists to sit down and enjoy the food comfortably, especially if you don't have a car (I prefer to not in my car). I've tried portsmouth square several times and there was only some park benches with bird poop and lots of old guys smoking nearby. It would be nice if there was a big grass area for picnics (eating food from Chinatown) or more green spaces in that mainly cement park - and the area in general.

Chinatown was once my standard Saturday walk about and exploring tour for over a year, well over 32 years ago. I quickly preferred Stockton over Grant though both have plenty of gems. My favorite restaurant ever with at least one of the Ladies standing tall is, Lucky Creation, veg Chinese. Large gluten combination, eggplant in the bb sauce clay pot. Side of rice, plenty of sambal oelek [for me]. With my former friends, we ate very well there many times. That's my number one in SF's Chinatown.

Napoleon Super Bakery is the best for egg tarts. Not only is it good, the price is excellent and it's actually open. Have you tried the baked scallion bun at Good Mong Kok? What about a BBQ Pork bun episode?
