It is now August 2022. I just bought grass hay for $50 and $60 a bale. I dont even try to ask how much the bales weigh, let alone ask for the protein content of the bales. I am just greatful to get somebody to sell me hay.

QUESTION: In the hot and humid Amazon Forest, the predominant bovine is the Cebu (originally from the Asian Sub Continent), could this, or any cow, be fed only (or mainly) indoor- grown micro-green type grasses (combinations of oats, rye, barley, etc … ) … In light of the devastation to the Amazon, can it be a sustainable way of raising healthy cattle? TY for your wisdom.

What a pity this stuff isn't thrown out onto the soil where it belongs. It would grow and feed very nice soil for grass to grow and the animals to feed on.

Good Soyabean meal ( post oil extracted crushed seeds ) & cotton seeds meal ( post oil extracted crushed seeds ) for cattle feed containing 40 % Crude protein # but why U later said these meal contain 13 % crude proteins ?????? in addition both meals contains some remaining oil & provide excellent oil fats nutrients ( fatty acids ) to cattle # lastly rice bran does not contain any fat & has extremely low protein but high fiber & some glycogen ( carbohydrates ) #

Interesting how he just go's out and states that cows don't have nutritional wisdom as if it were a fact. Recent science proves he's wrong.
