My mum died on the 15th July after being taken ill at the start of June, with an illness that rapidly progressed and was untreatable due to other health issues she had. 5 days before my mum died I found out my partner of 32 years had been having an affair with my work colleague that I thought was a friend. I think I've been in shock and just emotionally shut down but the pain of everything is starting to hit and overwhelm me. Last night I had horrible dreams that left me with a desolate and dark feeling all day today and tonight I've been crying all night. I feel like I'm in a nightmare I can't get out of. Your videos have helped me a lot for a few years, with insomnia and anxiety. I don't know about lifting the veil but I definitely need something tonight so I'm trying this. Hope I wake up tomorrow feeling better than I did today 💙

" when you're going through hell, don't stop to look at the scenery", maybe not super helpful right now but I recognize that despair you described and have known it too well. I write to you, to tell you, YOU WILL make it through to better feelings again. I didn't know how Id ever be able to feel good again. But I finally do, and I feel that somehow walking through the fires I have has not left me scarred, but fireproof. I'm not at all a religious person but there are times when life's challenges put you on your knees, and while I'm there, praying DOES seem to bring the sunshine around again.. eventually😅...🙄😁 I've just simply said, I hurt, I'm lost, please guide me... Also if you're a reader there's a great book ,funny and biting and painful at times but It hugged my heart and taught me some things about severe and long term loss and traumas and how to find a life worth living again,no matter what you've lost or been through, by Augustine Burroughs it's called, " This is How" The second book is called,"The Choice" EXTREMELY powerful and surprisingly joyful book, written by Edith Egarr n incredibgly inspiring and funny and brazen survivor of the holocaust. Keep your chin up, eat right and sleep as much as your body and mind need. Another true healer once told me , you're gonna feel selfish if you take as good of care of yourself as I need you to. He was right but I eventually got over the guilt part. Care for yourself as you would if your very kindest friend has been going through the things you have . Care for yourself extra gently when you're struck down. Give yourself time and know it's normal, ok, and justifiably horrible to feel how you described. Hugs stranger/ friend/ fellow traveler ❤🙏✨

Sometimes after a while, we can see the point, but sometimes we never do. I'm not a religious person either but when the vicar came to visit with my sister and I to discuss my mum's funeral, at the end, she said she thought we should pray. We were sitting around the table and normally I would have found this a bit of an uncomfortable situation but I did feel sort of unburdened and soothed. I will look into those books. Thanks again 🫶
