Ruper Spira is so crystal clear! When he explains to you, he delivers directly from the Source, from pure Consciousness to the Source, to pure Consciousness which is present right Now. Those who misunderstand his message are not listening with the "heart" so to speak but with the "mind". The mind in this case acts as a relative filter which approves or disproves any new information based on past knowledge known as memory. Know the difference between experiencing and thinking. Experience cannot experience time, Thought thinks time and creates time with each thought.

Beautiful, so clear! When you have a little child, you can see clearly that this is how she lives, no past and future. And it also brings up this same fear sometimes, just to see someone completely surrendered to the life that is happening. When we can really do what Rupert says, life is so vibrant and free, even miraculous, I would say. I think it is the state the little child lives, but much more expanded and mature.

This conversation shatters the illusion of time by one who sees clearly. Although he will not accept the title of guru, he is a guru, but only in the truest sense of its meaning. It is two Sanskrit syllables, “gu” (darkness) and “ru.” (that light which dispels the darkness) And, I know the word guru has a lot of baggage these days. I have heard this concept since I was 12 years old, for almost 50 years now. And, it always seemed so mystical, like Captain Spock proclaiming it, and only the most discerning of professors from Yale, Harvard, MIT, Cambridge, Oxford, were worthy of embracing and deciphering the mystical concept. But, here is Rupert, just serving it up like a simple bowl of oatmeal, that anyone of any age might grasp.

What is talked about here is psychological belief,that they exist truly. FOR every day life the earth is flat,an useful concept,so that you construct buildings,but truly earth is a globe 🌎

I have a question around this..and yes i.see what is said here..we cant grasp the past or future. This at times makes me want to throw all caution to the wind..to dance around. Sing scream and shout and do whatever occurs to me to happen...but...then i find myself wanting to save money, to have some security. A nice house, car. And some savings in the bank in case of emergency. For about 20 years i focused more on the now and didnt plan..but id see people i knew doing much better in material terms..big house, new car, pensions etc..we can say there is no future but in subtle or gross ways were preparing for it...me, you, rupert too..were not giving our money away, or throwing caution.to the wind. Why do we have bank accounts if theres no future or make plans..i just cant get my head around it

Ughh I can't bring myself to fully accept this thought and it's unfortunate because I really do want to believe it. But what about time dilation it is very real and it says time is very real.. GPS doesn't work without taking time dilation into account. Someone who might have an answer to this please let me know I would appreciate it.

Time dilation makes sense from the standard paradigm of spacetime. Within that construct of spacetime, matter exists. From inert matter, life evolved. Human beings came to be. And the human mind is merely the phenomenon of complex matter interacting. Now consider the possibility that this standard paradigm is completely backward. The only evidence for it comes by way of experience. Imagine if a dream you had one night was not something that you woke up from, but instead it persisted. How could you ever attain the realization that you were only dreaming? You would be fully convinced of this construct of spacetime yet it only exists within this realm of your dreamstate. Rupert's message to you is that this realm referred to as 'reality' is evidenced by nothing more substantial than what you experience when you dream. So there is nothing you have as any concrete basis to prove that you are not dreaming right now. Now. That is the critical word. Because just as the totality of spacetime which you experienced in your dream was unveiled to be an illusion, Rupert is acting as your alarm clock here, inviting you to wake up. Your decision to post this time dilation question is you hearing Rupert's call, but then hitting the Snooze Button, because you are wanting to extend your dream where things like spacetime feel real to you. We all choose the Blue Pill. But Rupert persists in offering the Red one. Hard to swallow. This notion that not only is this persistent perception that I am a body that moves within this space filled with matter is all an illusion... but that my perception of time itself is likewise an illusion. That any effort I make to prove that this outward objective realm I call 'spacetime' actually exists is brutally limited to only my perception of it. Therefore it becomes an impossibility. It exists because I choose to believe it exists. I believe my body exists. I believe the world exists. I believe the universe exists. I believe spacetime exists. I believe time dilation exists. I believe time exists. Rupert goes much further to point out the lack of evidence that my own mind exists. Here too, I choose to hit Snooze. I melt back into the sweetness of dream. The Sublime Dilation of expanded awareness will have to wait.

We don't move through time, time moves through us. We are stationry, you could say aging is temperal friction. The one thing I don't like in this is when he defined time as the gap betreen two events, thats digital. Time, by it verry nature would have to be analog and sinusoidal. I say this because of relativity. We can observe time differently depending on the situation. Also, if time is a construct of the brain why is there light just ariving from galaxies that existed billions of years b4 we did? Are you saying that if we were not there to observe it everything would happen at onece? This is Schrodinger cat All over again. And it everything is happening in an eturnal "now" that would need infinite energy plus an explination of why energy is dissipating. Or maybe we realy are 3 dimentual shadows of 4 dimensional objects. Either way, iNEED A DRINK. lol

Robert Brown I also had conflict with the scientific view of light taking 4 billion years to travel from other galaxies. From the point of view of what we really are then the travelling light is only seen on the relative level and the light still appears to travel as a material object even though it appears to be moving at 186,000 miles a second that is no match to us which is everywhere, and totally still. whether we we use time to measure 4 billion years ago to lunchtime today or a branch blowing in the wind taking only seconds. it all happens in us which we essentially are and the reason we are able to have this conversation is because it was witnessed by us. In this now, events and things don’t actually happen simultaneously together as such. Obviously we don;t eat breakfast and dinner together . It may help to see it like a play on a stage or a dream where nothing actually happens in a time driven way. Light or branches can do what they do quite happily without having time imposed on them .Both the scientific and non dual points of view are correct and its all a case of where one’s level of perception is looking from at the moment it seems. This “now” word we’re using is probably the best gateway we can use but it can’t actually describe the timeless experience because people are so conditioned to think of now travelling in time as an event in between past and future.
