Nice! I highly recommend checking out : 1. (2004) Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha OP & ED (with 5 series, 4 movies and 2 games; OPs & some movie EDs sung by that era's anisong queen: Mizuki Nana; she sang all the Symphogear OPs here) 2. (2008) Macross Frontier OP & ED & insert (esp the EDs like "Diamond Crevasse" & "Northern Cross" are a MUST! and their longer forms!, Ao no Ether, Yousei)

to explain why sometimes anime makes characters naked, nakedness has a different connation in japan and rather then something taboo only for shame or titillation its seen more like a presentation of who that character is untainted/unblemished by anything including the very person themself too like behavior and choices of clothing for example can influence how someone is perceived but while naked there is not even the thinnest barrier separating them from the world being completely vulnerable bearing anything they would want hidden into the open basically its to show someone's innermost and truest self

Symphogear is the most anime anime to ever exist. It's a passion project through and through, pretty rough around the edges especially early on, but also has some of the most impressive animation sequences in recent years. Also an insane amount of character songs (they have to sing to power up their combat suits).

the first and last openings u saw are a japanese mobile game only the 5 in between are the anime openings this is a mecha magical girl music anime they get their powers from singing while fighting every battle is a performance as one of the girls sings or a group of them together

this show is rated teen for both light sexual jokes and well the cast are older teens and one of the main 6 is an adult and for a lot of blood

Its a really fun anime that i recommend to people to at least try to watch mainly for the music and the fight scenes alone it has 5 seasons with 13 episodes each with seasons 2-5 having chibi ova shorts that are extra stories for stuff that happened between episodes and seasons though a lot more comedic in tone

Why do characters get naked in Japanese anime OPs? Answer to. a: In manga and anime, when characters are in the spirit world, e.g. through meditation or telepathy, or when they are in a soul state, they are sometimes portrayed as naked. This is because clothing is material and cannot enter the spirit world. b: In the opening of an anime by Yoshiyuki Tomino (He is best known as the director of the Gundam series), nudity was depicted for the following reason. ‘Even without clothing or other appendages, the characters’ naked physiques alone can describe who they are.' The first opening you reacted to is Symphogear XD Unlimited, a mobile game that tells the story after the show ended, and I'm not sure it's canon (never played it). Apparently it tells the story of a parallel world where dead characters are alive, characters that live through the end are dead, and existing relationships are different than the original story, so, ignore the bracelet for the rest of the content. The game ended its service this year, by the way, and an offline version has been announced but seems like hasn't been released yet. To summarize the actual anime, though, it's about a bunch of lesbians fighting extradimensional creatures with powersuits made of ancient relics powered by songs that they use to kill reincarnating ghosts, Aldrich abominations, monsters, demons, gods, the military and even punch the moon and suplex a space shuttle, all with a belief in justice and the determination to fist!

A little late, but Chris best girl (Red armor, archer girl). I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but here is the deal with the teams: Each season has a different main villain + those weird blob things. For example, the second season has 3 of them fighting 3 others, but by season 3, all 6 of them are on the same team fighting a greater threat. This series puts a lot of enfasis on the concept of "Joining Hands", and most of the main villains end up joining hands with the main cast by the end of their season and join the good guys. Those who have watched the series, correct me if i'm wrong, but were Carol, Adam and Fudo the only ones who were not ultimately defeated by joining hands? (With Carol being a sort of anti hero last season of course)
