I don't know how you did it but I have very narrow feet but they stay on!

They also make a knit version which is what I have. Not sure if they are machine washable or not.

They mention on the website for the Knit: "The Droptop Knit is not machine washable, as this removes its water-repellent properties and might cause the upper material to lose its shape." But I didn't know they were water repellent, that's a plus!

SplayShoes also has a slip-on; cotton canvas and rubber sole. I have a pair of the velcro-closure model as my everyday knock-around, erranding, and road/woodsy-trail walks sneakers. Fair weather to drizzle.. I did not find them slippy on wet asphalt, but on smooth concrete they could be. If it's really wet, muddy, snowy, or rougher ground, I go for my Vivobarefoot Forest ESC boots.
