FEELING LIKE MYSELF AGAIN // a productive day in my life

I'm so glad you're here! After a couple weeks of nasty strep, I am finally feeling like myself again and I took full advantage of the energy. I clean the house, do a mini Q&A, go to some garage sales, and just take you along with me on a sunny, productive saturday.

I love this vlog 🤍 I love what you said about not needing to fill your day with being busy! There is a lot of pressure around sahm to always be busy. The ebbs and flows of being a mom make it beautiful.

My favorite kid station in our living room was a play kitchen, a bookshelf that I put cube bins in to hold the play food and a kids table. It was so easy to clean up and keep looking nice bc of the bins. I love the look for the limited Montessori toys on an open cube shelf!

I love that you take care at keeping your little one out of the camera full face but still include your mom life with her! That’s what I try and do in my videos sharing but not exposing the kiddos to the world Thanks for sharing ❤

Also you will be plenty busy wing a homemaker will you keep you plenty busy specially with your kiddo! Getting ready to start a SAHM group that will meet at my home every other week with a bible study/ play date Kid for the moms abs the kids 😊

Teaching will always be there when you are ready to come back, but kids will turn 18 before you know it and your little one will only be little for a short amount of time. You will want to be there for all those milestone birthdays like her 5th, 10th, sweet 16. Out of curiosity, what are you going to do with all the stuff in your classroom after the last day of school?

We used a lower kitchen drawer or cabinet and put Tupperware’s, coloring stuff, etc that the kids could play with while I was cooking, etc. We didn’t have a ton of space, but giving up that cabinet space was a lifesaver!

My son is newly turned 3 and he is in a 2/3 year old preschool class. He goes 2 mornings a week and then I do homeschool activities with him the other days. It’s worked great for us 😀

Random thought but in your kitchen you had these open shelves next to cabinets that has decor and a plant…. Maybe you could do toys for your daughter on those like the aesthetic Montessori kind🤷🏻‍♀️

I need some prayers. I'm getting married hopefully this year and wow there's so many things to take care of. We may not be having a ceremony but it's the renting, the buying of appliances and all those things that are daunting for me. 😅😅 I feel so anxious 😰

I was a teacher for 10 years and became a stay at home mom after the 2020-2021 school year. It's a different kind of busy, but so amazing, especially knowing that's time I could never get back with my babies. You and your precious little girl are going to love it!
