The holes in the chalice stem may be put there so the piece doesn’t explode. If the stem is hollow, the hot air in there can expand in the kiln.

8:45 The holes in the goblet could just be holes so it doesn't bust in the kiln, but it also reminds me of the Renn Faire and I saw people have goblets tied to their sides with leather cord for their costumes. Idk.

That was a gold dipped rose, they come from Morgans Jewelers here in WA state 🙋♀️ my kids buy them for me one by one i have a few colors. 😁 they are each about 100$ and come with certificates.

Seeing knives I cringed with you!!! In the 70’s my mom was shopping at a variety store similar to Kmart. A little girl pulled off the shelf a hunting arrow with the razor tip on it. Running through the store with it, she accidentally ran the arrow through my mom’s arm. Luckily it didn’t puncture anything but tissue. The ER doctor had to cut the arrow shaft to pull it out.
