Cool as a gift guide would be, you having a less stressful and happier December is so much more important! This year's holiday season is weird, and I really appreciate the balance you struck in this vlog between wanting to create cheerful content but also not ignoring the fact that it is a stressful and kind of sad time as well. My mum has been collecting ornaments for years and years, and in our shed there are currently 16 (!) moving boxes, all filled to the brim with baubles in all shapes, sizes, and organized by colour. It is pretty amazing and an organizational nightmare every year, all at the same time. But I'm lucky because if I'm decorating my own tree, I can just borrow some of hers and not spend any money, so it's a win-win!

I might be projecting here. But when we moved in to our house the first year was really hard because we had work being done and we took one room after another, nowhere felt really home for a long time. That had a huge impact on my mood. You have a baby on the way and a pandemic too!! If you are not feeling as festive as you would like for these vlogs, don’t even worry about it!! Sending lots of good vibes and I love the decorations you have for the tree 🎄

Books and Christmas decorations are my splurges, every year I get some new ones from Liberty, this year online though. You seemed better towards the end, try not to stress about the channel, do whatever you want, people are more here for you rather than what you can suggest they buy. Just do what you enjoy and that'll be enough. X

Good for you for making the decision to not go ahead with a video if you don’t feel up to it. Sometimes things just don’t work out as we thought they would and it’s great you are putting yourself first. I find gift buying very stressful too and worry about getting it right. Honestly, your vlog just made me feel so much better. I'm currently stuck in the US unable to return home for christmas and despite all the people raving online "yay! CHRISTMAS!" I feel so down and uninspired. I know I ought to feel grateful for having my husband with me, but I'm so homesick. Thank you for being real during vlogmas.

Don't worry about the gift guide. Everybody understands that times are tough, and if they don't, they're not worth listening to. Your own peace of mind comes first! And while you may not be feeling the Christmas spirit right now, you at least brought me some Christmas spirit, both with this video and with your Christmas playlist! Love your decorations! It took me forever to understand it's Will's legs we see in the miniature, not some random super high brown boots!! 🤦That makes so much more sense now that I see that! Oh those observation skills of mine... Thank you for addressing those sadder parts of your week. This year particularly, I think it's good to be candid about how we feel. As much as we need cosy, I think we also need to be reminded we're not alone in struggling with...stuff x

It’s just a day, Xmas, and next year will be so much more appreciated. My two adult children have never spent Xmas with me which was hard at first but not now. I appreciate the quiet on most Xmases, and this year everyone will be having the same Xmas as us! I used to get upset. My lights have been up for ages and won’t go down until March. Be well, and take care of bumplet. 😊🌷💕

Oh, the memories of cooking with the bump...and the back pain of that slight bending forward you have to start doing, lol! (I have 2 little ones). Hope you have a lovely Christmas whatever it holds. Next Christmas will look a bit different ;) but I know it's hard going through things now.
