I haveasecurity company and hang cameras all day. I would suggest adding a junction box to mount your cameras on. Putthe connections in the box. That way you don't bury your wires if you need to repair 😂

I know it's probably too late because of the delay in the videos, but I'd recommend mounting a box to the post, and then mount the camera to the box. then you can coil up a bit extra wire inside, and makes future maintenance so much easier.
