Yes don't forget to look left and right when crossing the road - especially when filming ! Yes a lot of Spurs fans was saying Vicario is weak and I said no, it's just that Man City cheated by pushing him out of the way when he jumps - what in NRL is a foul because it can leave the jumper to land on his head, break his neck.

💯 agree Paul. I saw that weird post which picked certain parts of the year to try and make a narrative we don’t beat big opposition. Was weird stuff. The only facts that matter are. Where did we finish at the end of the year? Is it an improvement on the previous season? Are we making improvements that will lead to more success on the pitch?

It is may be only a feeling of mine but i do feel safer when defending set pieces when Richy is on the park, he offers Vic some protection, and he is never afraid to get involved with the pushing, holding and the 'Argey-Bargey' tactics that some teams over employ. He certainly gives as well as he receives, and will not be pushed around........The Aussie Spurs Fan.

Never understood all this specialist coach business for things like set pieces, goal celebrations, tying their bootlaces or whatever. These are players supposed to know the game, is it is really that complicated for them to make sure an opposition player doesn't get a free header or find space or pay attention in case of clever corners or free kicks? I think it's making these things so technical and specific that's part of the problem in football today

You don't defend set-pieces ... you ATTACK the ball 😎 a defender gets shouted at ... to repel the ball twice as fast as it comes. The attitude should be the ball is meant for us ... not the attacking side.

we play football that has always been art. When we see a performance where there is no belief in scoring a goal no belief in our selves it brakes my heart. Get the ball in the net. Ball in the net. First 10 games were an anomaly last season which is why it is often excluded. If that was Arsenal, we'd be calling it a New Manager Bounce. Which objectively is what it was. If you have a string of results under a brand new manager which you're not able to repeat, then what else would you call it? Of course, the opposing view is that at some point we will return to that form again. But also, those first 10 games are an arbitrary date in time and a much, much smaller sample size.

@UnitedSpursofAmerica Sorry, an anomaly under Ange I meant. We've never recovered that form even for a few games on the bounce. I hope we will. The next 10 or so games will be really defining I feel. Whether it's beating bigger teams or losing to smaller teams, or vice versa. One thing has always been true, we're too inconsistent to win anything. I hope Ange can fix that this season.
