Just moved to Townsville last september. Love watching your vids as gives me a few ideas on where to fish here. However i havent actually gone out cause im still not 100% on a few things/laws with fisheries etc over here. but glad to see barra in the drains. Can you eat them out of the drains or is the water too dirty/unhealthy?

Thanks mate. An yeah fisheries are here an there but I’m never chasing barras in these drains when closed season. I’ve caught plenty of other fish in here but as long as you’re letting them go it’s good. An yeah people do eat them out of there but I haven’t.
