I enjoyed your vlog as always. Saw that punt when you got in too deep with a bluff and a gut shot. Hope I learned how to avoid that. Just back from a successful trip to Vegas and I must attribute watching you play and explain your thinking helped a lot. I made several hero calls and folds that were correct. I played more aggressive and that helped. I did get lucky once but also lost a couple being unlucky too. Only played in 1-3NL at Bally’s and a bit at Caesar’s. Covered all expenses for my and my daughter with a couple hundred extra afterwards. Thanks and looking forward to learning more. Oh, I attribute that lucky win to using the Zeus card protector!

Nice trip Mike, it’s ok to get caught bluffing now and then. It gets you a lot of loose calls when you have it. I give my Zeus chip all the credit for my good luck and zero for the bad. Happy Holidays!

True story when playing in Aruba about 7 years ago. Same flop of AQQ came out when I was holding QQ and opponent had AA. I won 325 from the hand plus 2500 off bad beat. AA got the 5000 top prize for the bad beat.

Doug, sizing is fine when you have AA on turn. You can go higher because these clowns will happily call, but you’re giving him a little under 3/1 odds and he needs 6/1 to call correctly on a flush draw with 1 to come

I try to give people the wrong price to draw, if they want to gamble and play bad I let them. I just felt he would pay more to gamble than what I charged.

I had an excellent day in 1-3. Had a $2.5k walk. Just cards no great skill involved. Then got burned & skill didn't help. Just cards. Then burned the tables. I wonder whats the point, if any....its cards...
