So essentially, the actual plot of the MV is the boys are at war/in a battle and they're taking refuge in Elkie's (yes it was her) church and Minhyuk (the red haired rapper) falls in love with her which is why we get the scenes of those two praying together. But in the end, Elkie betrays him and gives him over to the enemy/she actually is the true enemy and that's the scene of him hanging in the air where she walks up to watch him. So symbolically, I think it is similar to what you said, where they're at war with themselves because they know how badly they hurt the person they love but they're so desperate to have them back and the whole song is essentially a prayer to God praying for him to bring her back into his life! I knew you would appreciate the musicality and visuals of the MV and I'm cracking up at your continuous debate over whether is actually Elkie or not! Thanks for always giving my boys the love they deserve!!! Also, can I just say that shot of Sungjae looking into the light and singing so desperately is my favorite shot in the whole MV and I'm so glad you paused to appreciate it!

i read this interesting theory where the boys are the sinned one, and Elkie is there as a spy. Minhyuk prayed and asking for forgiveness to god, cause of his sins and she's there to hear everything--so she caught him, and the boys were trying to save Minhyuk but they fall into Elkie's trap too

Basically, the way I understand the story of the music video, is that BTOB are a group of rebels, and Elkie has a romance with Minhyuk (red hair guy), but ends up betraying them/ratting them out to the government/whatever they're rebelling against. The way she walks away from him in the end seems to mean that she might have not had real feelings for him/was meant to flirt with him to infiltrate the group.

The members actually told us what the plot is about. Minhyuk and Elkie, along with the other members are on a team/BB gun club/charity club/workout club. It's a club where they learn BB gun survival tactics. The club contacted an opponent team to do a survival battle. However, that opponent team raided their camp and kicked them out. Peniel and Sungjae went back to take their camp back but everything was gone. They were caught so they ran off to go get something to eat. When they returned, they see Minhyuk being hung upside down. It was later added that Elkie, who the team trusted, had told the opponents where the BTOB members were. All of them were caught but they needed someone topless so Minhyuk volunteered.

This was the song that really pulled BTOB out and made them a force to be reckoned with. They got their first music show win with this song and at the time, it was the longest it ever took a boy group to receive a first win at 3 1/2 years after debut. This song has 2 names because in korean The title is 기도 which means pray. But they release this song ' ill be your man' as eng title. In kpop u will experience this kind of stuff. They always has many name or titles in song or drama..

As far as I know the story is: The girl is bad and she captured the six members of them (expect Minhyuk - boy with red hair) and so He(Minhyuk) try to save his member from the girl But changsub ( who met with the girl at second scene) already know the plan that Minhyuk will save them , betrayed his members and tell about the plan to the girl at the church . Love this song. BTOB is such a talented group! I'd highly recommend checking out some of Minhyuk's solo stuff outside of BTOB too (the red haired one). He is a rapper, but he's also such a skilled vocalist! As a solo artist he goes by Huta, and his songs "Ya" and "Hang Out" are amazing. Also, BTOB performed this song on a show, but with a twist: the microphones were changed unexpectedly to make them sound different! 😂 It's really funny, so you should check it out if you have the chance. BTOB are so super talented. Definitely check out some live performances of this song, the MV is cool but it's a shame that the visuals on screen take away from the stunning harmonic climax of the song. I really appreciate that you don't only watch new releases. Still hoping you'll check out B1A4 some day...my self-composing boys are very well-known in Korea but very underappreciated internationally. (They're the sunbaes in Oh My Girl and ONF's company, so you already know they know how to make good music!) Just like OMG has a energetic/dreamy dichotomy in their songs and ONF has ON vs OFF sides, B1A4 alternated spring+summer and fall+winter releases. For a summer release Solo Day is super fun, and for Fall A Lie is a MASTERPIECE.
