I remember when young with my first baby having long nomadic adventures in the badlands of the Dakotas . In a old 69 Chevy truck with a topper and bed . We had this little pressure cooker you could put in the coals over night. A whole chicken and stuffing would turn into . Well I think I’ll never taste it again . What a memory

The ’lake’ which you found is actually an old water cistern used to trap and store water in the karst landscape where, due to the nature of the karst rock letting through water, there really are no rivers, streams or natural lakes.

That was a nice campsite you found. After breaking a wing mirror on my Defender that cost $90 to replace I be fast got into the habit of folding them in before going into scrub. With it being a damp winter here it good to share your escape 🏴‍☠️

Great scenery as usual.. Still deep water stratifies so the top may be warm but a meter down it can be very chilly. The good news about Defenders is they are relatively narrow and have flat vertical sides .. for when the track gets narrow 😉🌌🏞️🧙‍♂️

Great to see Benjamin with the butterfly. Mixed feelings because every woman loves butterflies, including mine. Nice cooking with all kinds of curry with salad and Surinamse fried banana 🍌. Heerlijk om te kijken terwijl ik in de auto wacht tot de onweersbui is over getrokken en ik weer verder kan klussen aan mijn boot 😄. @@FeeltheBreeze het klussen valt een beetje tegen, alles loopt in meerdere hoeken tegelijk en ik ben niet opgeleid als timmerman... Hopelijk morgen hondekooi en toilet weer opnieuw opgebouwd, dan nog elektra en buiten wat schilderwerk. Begin juli moet ie het water weer in dus da's een leuke deadline. Eindelijk weer zeilen, kan niet wachten! Hopelijk zijn jullie al weer lekker aan het zeilen, ben benieuwd.

My two favourite cuisines Mediteranian and S.Asian 😋 🦋🏞️🌼🦋🏞️🌼🏞️🦋 I was looking at a French channel and they were looking for a boat to carry on their Wharram catamaran so it needed to be light and easy to store.. i suggested they might build a folding boat .. I found one that was a catamaran even.
