It’s is impossible for him to flip and then wavedash without touching the ground at least 2 times. The motion of his landing when he flip just looks like a wavedash, but it’s just a weird speedflip.

this series showed me something ive been noticing for a while now: you gotta avoid flipping as much as possible. wavedashing off walls is the best play, because it doesnt take you as far away as a flip does. there were so many goals where evoh flipped and nwpo just wavedashed, and evoh ended up in a worst position than nwpo. small details that the MENA players seem to have figured out before everyone else.

I think it's time we start considering the middle east as a powerhouse, it's definitely not just EU VS NA that's for sure. Don't know what they are doing out there but damn they are producing world class players.

Middle East has never won a LAN 3v3. They wont be considered a powerhouse until till they can win an international LAN event. Not to mention that the region only has one top level team in RLCS. Sure MENA is a top 1v1 region but thats been true for some time now, they have BEEN a 1v1 powerhouse. Pretty soon they'll catch up in RLCS but as of now they are still not on the same tier as NA/EU that have multiple top tier teams and sustained success as regions

It's just Saudi pretty much not regional unfortunately. Even when it comes to consoles coverage there is a focus on the Saudi market, unlike the rest of the region which gets a general regional coverage.

I think people who use regular air roll are doing themselves a disservice. DAR+stick can do every movement regular+stick can do and since there is no double bind, you can pre-press powerslide when hitting a surface even when you still need to air roll. You'll be disadvantaged in those situations with the double bind.

Evoh made a ton of mistakes but I think a lot of it came down to him moving his camera so much. Against a slower opponent him moving the camera around to look around would be fine but NWPO is so fast and I don't think evoh has 100% got the camera movement down yet but once he figures it out I think he'll improve a lot.

Also does anyone even know what forfeit means? You can't say it's 5-0 even if NWPO had a 10 goal lead. Forfeit means he surrendered that game to Evoh.
