Aba Amuquandoh... gotta say that on this week's 22 Minutes, your crazy skit so kindly spoofing Dr. King's 'I Have a Dream' speech by his 'cousin in Canada, Eugenia Simmons,' was absolutely hysterically funny. When a member of your audience wakes up laughing in the middle of the night, still thinking about some particularly hilarious moments in your sketch, you know you've nailed it! ("I am drinking from a segregated water fountain. And then all my teeth fell out!!! What do you think that means?" omg... absurd juxtapositioning genius funny shit, with perfect comedic timing. Nailed it, nailed it, nailed it.) A thing like that is no small feat--particularly these days when there's so much trauma for me with 2 ongoing, horrible wars in parts of the world where I have family and friends. (My sleep is quite fragile now, and I wake up with huge anxiety frequently.) So I am pretty grateful to you and Mark, Trent, Stacey, Chris, Greg, --and all the writers!!!--for your dedication to this art of making people laugh. You made my day yesterday when I was finally able to tune into 22 Minutes on CBC GEM! Then made my night! And THEN made my day again today--as I am STILL laughing! Seriously funny shit gals and guys!!! And the Toronto 'slope cops' sketch... omg you guys!!!... lmfao ... toboggan 'cop cruiser'.
