Congrats on your summons!!!!! Glad things ended up well for you in the end. I wanted the two Valentia characters since I LOVE Echos, ended up with two Peony and a -Atk Mycen before the spark. I sparked for Sonya but I did want two of her for her tome to give to my Ricken and Limstella and luckily got the second copy only three summons after the spark, finished the circle and got nothing else but all considered I did really well 💪

All things considered, that went pretty well for you! I pulled all green and red in the first five circles and got Sonya. Part of me wants to keep going, especially since I wanted Peony more, but I think I'd rather stop and keep saving.

Congrats on getting all the girls you wanted! You had to take a gamble there, but it paid off. You and I had very similar experiences on this banner, in that regard. On the way to the spark, I only summoned Rearmed Sonya and a 4-star special male Byleth. But when it came to the spark, I picked Triandra instead, because then I could focus on green and get extra Sonya's instead. Which worked! Because I did get another Sonya, after getting pitybroken by Citrinne on the same circle. And then the circle after I finally got Peony. Mission complete! I failed to pick up Mycen, but whatever, he's in the normal pool anyway. And now my Summer Elise will be eating good with Rearmed Sonya's fodder. Now here's hoping for the dagger rearmed for my Hot Springs Elise.

Threw in some summons for Att!Triandra, I lowkey her design. I ended up giving DB Echo to base Tibarn for the lols I was thinking of summoning R!Sonya for that lovely art (and maybe give Arcane Caliburnus to D!Rein or Teatailu), but I donut want to risk the colorshare shenanigans lol. Grats on getting Triandra (despite the summoning session being rough)!

Congrats on your summons glad triandra didn't take long and appread quickly after spark!^^ Aaa omg attuned triandra looks so pretty and so cool Ichikawa halu did such a fantastic job I'm really tempted to go for her since she's one of my favourite fairies I tried abit got peony on 3rd ticket then tried abit more next day got another peony cause no reds x'D I'm glad but I really want triandra she looks really pretty so I hope I get her in a yolo summon since I really don't want to go for spark since there's only 2 month until December and I have a strong feeling winter short hair Veronica is gonna happen and I need to have atleast 400 orbs for copies so yeah I'm scared if I sparked I won't have enough for 400 orbs in December hopefully I get triandra in a yolo summon :')

Congrats on getting the ladies. I managed to get the ladies myself by the spark. And Attuned units are fine. Everyone is just overblowing it and hating on them for no reason just because "it's Book IV fairies and we hate Book IV fairies". This community is nothing but a toxic cesspool that just hates on every single thing this game does. Attuned units are fine, I like the X skills being more tame compared to the broken shit we have currently, and it at least opens up new build options (debating Kiria getting Atk Oath Echo, cause it means I can run TP4 on her again, and thus have infinite Flare to spam on her, and Tsubasa getting Death Blow Echo for even more offense (because god forbid IS makes a TMS refine that isn't dogwater compared to the myriad of actual GOOD refines they've given out, by comparison)). So I think everyone just needs to stop being so toxic towards Attuned units. They are FINE.

And while I do agree the toxicity angle rings true in a lot of the community circles, the advent of a new slot that's locked away to limited heroes like this is a bit of a slippery slope. The current effects are underwhelming, but they won't be that way forever. There could have been a more elegant way of introducing the slot.

@@GuardianEPlays And locking inheritable prf weapons to limited heroes isn't the same? Every single inheritable non-prf weapon they add to the game is always utter garbage compared to the Arcane weapons. So forcing you to pull for Rearmed units just to give your units who will never get a prf weapon (or did get one, but got an extremely bad or outdated refine) an actual prf weapon is also kinda scummy, yet people immediately accepted that concept just fine. So why do the Attuned fairies get shit on? It's the same damn thing. Attuned units are just Rearmed units, but for skills instead of weapons. And from what it appears, they don't seem to impact anything at all (since they immediately are learned upon inheriting, I don't think they count towards any scoring for the coliseum like Arena, Arena Assault+, etc), so all I see Attuned units as are giving out skills that are there just to open up more build options (like, say, if I gave my Kiria that Atk Oath Echo, then I can run Time's Pulse again on her C slot, and thus have infinite Flare spam instead of Ruptured Sky spam, which would significantly up her damage output). Also, given they're calling them ECHO skills, I don't think they're ever gonna be as broken as the new skills they keep adding into the game, as if you imagine an echo in a cave, the echo is never as loud as the initial thing you project from your mouth, so I think Echo skills are gonna be exactly what we initially got: slightly watered down versions of existing skills. I'm sorry for ranting. I just...am getting sick of everyone being so toxic on Reddit and Twitter about every single little thing IS adds to this game that I have to now play the Defender role and stop this unnecessary hate...

It isn't the same. A new slot opens up completely new options (including duplicative options for stacking) for a hero versus weapon refines. For inheritable weapon refines, you're replacing something (albeit in many cases a mediocre weapon), but this is stacked on top. Additionally, you can't look at just powers or abilities in a vacuum. It's about the interplay of those skills, and having a completely new slot opens the door in an absolutely distinct way, and locking that entire feature behind limited heroes only is a debatably negative precedent. The assumption about what constitutes an echo does not follow what they've done in the past. It's merely a soft term that doesn't actually provide a guideline or rule. And the game has been known to break self imposed rules repeatedly anyway. I think bashing the concept is premature, and most people who argue against it do so blindly. But I do also think it can still be handled with some grace, but I think there's also cause for concern.

What ever happened to just seeing this banner release and going "Hey, the Arcane green tome is finally here, now my green tome mage can finally have a good weapon." or "Hey, our first tier 4 Flow skill, now we can expect Flow N Trace 4 to come soon and cav units won't be screwed over anymore in either giving up Canto or not having a 300 SP b skill." What happened to those comments? Why can't everyone just be happy for new things anymore.... And I was actually looking forward to hearing you talk about Sonya and the fact Spring Camilla finally has her long awaited Arcane weapon, but...unless I'm just deaf or missed the part in the video, I didn't hear you talk about it (and if the shitty 3-4 star pulls ruined your train of thought, then let me throw all of them into a feather grinder for you)

I do think there's a lot of undue toxicity, you're on the money there. This is one of those rare instances where I do feel a little squirrely about the decision they've made, but I don't think they get enough credit for all that they do. Hate and memes spread faster than any positivity could, and that's just the unfortunate state of most online communities. If it helps, you should be happy with what makes you happy, and while I respect arguing with trolls for the positive angle of changes, don't let the negativity creep into your mindset. I didn't mention Spring Camilla, but that's definitely where the tome is going. I think my brain/talking points were all over the place since Attuned heroes were such a big change, and I didn't really get to talk about it at all during the reaction video. But rest assured, I'm happy to see one of my very first love projects in the game get a lovely upgrade!

To your comment on "this will damage the game in the long term", I feel like the long term damage is already done. The 3-4 star pool is so much worse then it was at launch, if you take a break for an extended period of time you will just get overwhelmed all of the new units with so many effects it is hard to keep up. and with how sometimes luck can be really bad for some people it really sucks that it can sometimes take an entire year to get 1 merge for something you want to summon for, which will be out of date by the time you get it. I want to enjoy this game with my favorite characters from my favorite game but the problem is that I love Echoes to death and this game is pairing units from that game with other games most of the time.

I think there's damage, but it's not unsalvageable damage. With how skill inheritance, weapon refines, and dragonflowers work, you can still use your favorite characters in 90% of content, including arena. You won't get top PVP ranks for a measely few extra rewards, but that's a small price to pay for using the characters you like and building them up from the ground. You can absolutely use a Valentia based team to clear and take on all challenges with low rarity merged up heroes. Just takes a lot of patience and a lot of love.

@@GuardianEPlays Yeah, I accepted that I won't reach top ranks in PVP ranks with a Valentia based team a while back. The PVE stuff should be fine, but I do need the patience you mentioned. (I'm sorry if the first comment seems so negative, I have had many bad experiences trying to summon for favorites and completing the collection without spending money on the game.)

Yeah, Attuned are not really great...Handled really poorly in my opinion. But still pulled on this banner as I like Peony and Triandra. Couldn't care less about their attuned skill. Went a hell of a lot better than my Rearmed Plumeria summon. Summoned THREE Rearmed Sonyas and Diamant. All that before the first spark. And decided to pick Attuned Peony. No Attuned Triandra for me...And going for another spark is really too costly...Nontheless, a great success.

This banner has been good to me. Before the end of it I might go back in for Attuned Peony so I can gift Brave Gullveig or Summer Lyn a fancy Oath skill. Wish me luck. 😁
