Yes.. It will work... But it will take a long time..

@@ritikakumarisingh8914 It will take more than 10 minutes. You can do one thing...in a small beaker of 100 mL, take about 60 mL water and start heating and parallely add Fehling's reagent (mixture of equal volume of of Fehling's A and Fehling's B) to the sample. When the water in the beaker has almost come to a boil, then put your test tube in the water bath. It will take less time in that case.
