Stand-up comedian Stewart Lee, in a recent TV special (called Content Provider if you want to look it up), talks about how much he likes 1970s Turkish folk music. He meant it as a joke about how weird his music taste is, but all I could think was, "I wonder if he knows about ultradiskopanorama." Stewart Lee, if you're reading this: how can you talk about Turkish folk music when Kara Kasli Yar by Sevda Alpay is classed as "psych folk"? That's the best Turkish music.
