Tbh Fein being in the event can open up a lot of team combinations. He can be teamed with a weak trio that's not normally paired together

In terms of being picked for the next event you should be safe. Purpled played multiple times in a row after debuting and he was pretty much a top 3 player as well. Unless you somehow carry the simmers to a win, there is always a place for you in mcc
