This is one of the saddest songs I know. It keeps me living in the past physiologically. It makes me reminisce on a time in my life where I knew the love of my life. A day that I long for, and hope to recreate.

JP M When I first Hera this song I was so heartbroken and this song really connected me with that sad and melancholic feeling. So beautiful and so sad. This song is like giving the love of your life a kiss from the distance.

Veela's vocals absolutely make this track. The sickly-sweetness of her voice juxtaposed against the upbeat yet melancholy tones, brought together with heartbreaking lyrics... it all works, but it wouldn't work with anybody else.

What's the secret!? I feel a subtle difference between this record and those that I found on streaming services. It's like a studio version or some other with a more rolling bass and more sincere voice of Veela. Miracle. Love it.

This song is both an instrumental and lyrical masterpiece. For anyone who is wondering what the song is about, the title is a major clue. My interpretation is that it's a story about someone who is in love with a vagrant that has fully embraced being a vagrant. The person Veela is portraying is conflicted between wanting the vagrant to stay and wanting her to do what she loves even though it involves not staying.

So many of these comments are so melancholy. This is such a beautiful song, and the subtle change in the video, to have her eyes looking at you is just 👌👌👌 honestly, this song just entices so many emotions from me. So beautiful

Hello. My name's Bryce Coleman. Me and my girlfriend Natalia Schenck have been dating each other ever since second grade. One of our saddest memories was that on the last day of third grade, I was going to move away from the city. That day, we both were crying our eyes out and our hearts were broken. Listening to this song revives that memory and my sadness. But my favorite part was the end when she said, "If I see her again, promise that I won't cry," because it reminds me that 5 years after I moved, she happened to move to where I live and when we saw each other, we ran to each other and cried again. So now, this song that we listen together reminds us how strong our love is. :'-)

i can never get this song out of my head...it's so raw it just makes me ache...i've always wondered if it was written about someone specific or if it was inspired from an abstract story/idea. it feels so personal i almost feel like i went through something, too.

I always wonder if it's about herself or another person. It's very hard to tell but it makes it that much more beautiful. I can make what I want of this song. I can think about parts of myself that I miss and haven't seen in a very long time or I can think about "the one that got away".

I found this song when my first foster cat was living her last days, and after it was her time to go, I listened this song in repeat for days. She was a stray, practically a wild cat who never fully domesticated, but she loved me and I loved her. At that time, it felt the lyrics were about her. And if I see her again in the afterlife, I promise I won't cry...
