yea there are commonly accepted definitions of what constitutes 'good taste/bad taste' but i'm not talking about commonly accepted, i'm talking about subjective. everything is subjective. i am sure there are many people out there that both hate Jimi Hendrix and enjoy eating shit (taken from your example!), so who's to say they're preferences are wrong? nobody. so should they should be able to press a dislike button without being called moronic by some righteous defender of "beautiful songs"? yes

@MargeCid to clarify, I disliked this song because it is crappy, not because I'm insecure about my singing skills, jeez. You'd think after 10 years of trolling people would come up with either better ways to explain dislike, or accept different opinions from their's. Also, I dislike this song, not Feist. I think 'water', '1234' and 'my moon my man' are so much better.
