I use this keyboard with milky switch and MDA caps. The result is very good and very deep creamy for real ( definitely safe for night and not noisy ) just like the very creamy keyboards seen on other KZbin. No need to modify anything inside the keyboard. Sometimes people are so crazy about mods that they think that the keyboard Must always be disassembled and added or subtracted. Even though just replacing the switches and keycaps is already very good. Do not remove the foam. Just use the stock. The foam important for aluminum keyboards to reduce ringing.

I got one, and I love the sound and feel, but the enter key would automatically be pressed down and kept skipping lines on me.

I thought this keyboard was perfect for me. With all that foam layering etc. But it sounds hella loud in your sound tests. I’ll be looking to something else that is waaaaay more dampened and quiet. I like the design and features though.

I have this board and love it but putting silent tactiles in so I can use it at work. Love the marbly sound otherwise

Dumb question but, does Gateron KS-3X1 Pro V2 Milky Yellow 5-Pin Linear Switches Compatible with this keyboard? I bought the kit and these switches and the two metal prongs from the switches made holes in the foam of the new keyboard. Is that normal?

@@Mamooshka220 it’s mainly cause all the keycaps are the same height. I didn’t mind them until I used Cherry profile keycaps lol

@Mamooshka220 Oem and Cherry keycaps the height is different. You are typing on a stairs of keys.. MDA is completely flat. It’s hard for me to “feel” where I am. It’s like typing on a MacBook keyboard… or iPad… I have MacBook Pro m1… so I do type on flat keyboard.. but it does not go down ( travel down much) With mda… it’s flat, and with mechanical keyboard … it travel down a lot. I just never got around that combo.

I'm confused, pretty sure the MDA profile is not completely flat, are you sure you're not confusing them with XDA or DSA?
