Fel Gwaelod Llyn Episode One : Dolanog & Capel Celyn Documentary

Some years leading up to the Tryweryn scheme. A number of different valleys had come under consideration, and it was here at Dolanog where the battle-lines were first drawn.

In these first few episodes of Fel Gwaelod Llyn we will be exploring the events which led up to the drowning of Capel Celyn. From Liverpools anxiety over water shortages, to the towns and villages that were affected.
Further episodes we will discuss the plans to stop the drowning, the protests & sabotage. And the lives that were changed forever by Capel Celyn.
This is the first part in a long series. We appreciate the feedback and support.
