Absolutely wonderful. I went to music school studying flute. Now haven't played in 20 some years, but I'm going to get another flute. I'll never be as good as I was, but it will fill the musical hole in my heart and soul. 🥺🥹❤

This recording should be the Standard for this piece! Bravo!

Whoah...what engineer did the recording of this performance? It sounds like a controlled-session-quality recording!

Thanks for the comments. Live recording with NO effects whatsoever added. No sound treatment at all. Digital audio tape (DAT) recording using 2 Senheisser mikes placed about 4 meters in front of the stage. That's all.

Wow you sound spectacular. Was it a pair of small diaphragm condensers?

Thanks for the comments about my sound! No, nothing except 2 microphones recording straight to the DAT. Me, my flute, an accompanist and a hall. It's all about getting a focussed sound AND playing in tune with your flute. Tune your middle octave C# with the low C# harmonic fingering for the same note. Get the middle octave C# flatter than the harmonic and then you are on your way to playing in tune with your flute. I had - in my opinion - the best flute teacher for all aspects of flute playing and music. Never have I met anyone with more knowledge of music and I have met A LOT of musicians many years.
