My recommendation would be 'Learn from your mistakes' (eg 4stroke shenanigans that displaced 2strokes)... so add a 'Run What You Brung' Open Class. eMotos, 4-Strokes, Big Bore 2-Strokes at select events and see how it goes.

As some of us locally have already experienced...the e bike being so quiet makes it a sketchy deal. With ICE bikes making sounds of awareness, the e bike is silent. Even other e bikes can't hear the other e bikes among the ICE bikes. The margins of racing and just practice riding has to be widened IF you know an e bike is even around. Mixing them is a problem.

Hell No. Nobody wants to purchase hundreds of dollars for tickets for their family to attend a supercross race, fill up their cars with gas going there and coming back, travel 50-150 miles to the event, fight traffic, find parking, pay money for concessions once inside the stadium and sit down to watch a silent race where all the bikes sound like a bunch of fucking RC cars. Honda has already said by 2032 they are not going to produce any more internal combustion engines. It's just a matter of time and all bikes will be electric if they have their way.

There will still be plenty of noise at future e-moto races - in the pits amongst hundreds of generators charging batteries. Think your local track will ever be able to afford e-charging infrastructure? Just like four strokes replacing smokers, e-bikes are destined to take over once the door is cracked open, irrespective of their true merits, due to gov and commercial pressures. Once a precedent is set for holding quieter ‘low emission’ (😂) moto meetings, the broader community and track development and operating approvals will begin to insist on electric only. It will be a progressive change, slow yet certain. However cool e-bikes may be to ride as a novelty at this stage in their development, that’s a different thing from being compelled to use them with no remaining alternatives one day. Can’t help but think those suggesting lack of motor noise in motorsport will leave nothing missed are fine examples of the dwindling testosterone level crisis. Go to an air show and tell yourselves the fighter demonstrations would be better if they were silent. Or imagine how great a silent drag meeting would be for spectators 🤦🏻‍♂️. Hearing is one of our key senses which in the context of motorsport gives us an appreciation of the configuration of a motor, its state of tune, and how responsive and powerful it is, and thus, how masterful the top riders and mechanics are to ride and prepare them. Taking away this noise removes a key feature from the sport for spectators. What electric bikes can uniquely offer to replace this remains to be seen.

The problem is that currently you really have only one top manufacturer that makes an electric bike capable of competing against 450s .... Stark. That would be like Yamaha, Honda, kawasaki or KTM coming out with the first 4 stroke bike and wanting to compete against all other 2 stroke bikes back in the day. It's too early to have a different class of bike competing (electric) unless it was its own class

FLED/MX Sports are unfortunately followers instead of leaders. They are controlled by OEM's too much instead of driving OEM's like others. It will ultimately happen, but they will be way behind the power curve. The sound difference excuse is always absolutely comical. Do you realize how simple it is to change that? You can tell just the way he talks he has a dinosaur thought process equating it to a 250 and 450 as the initial logic. You have to think to the future not the past.

How about investigating the financial aspect of Supercross management. .? Why Glen Helen cannot host a National MX Rd ? Electric bikes while great to ride are terrible to hear ‘ . No noise equals NO interest. RacerX and its hold on the Supercross series 😮 ?Hmm?
