Why the people forget that it is a fantasy show about loving someone's soul deeply that even tho the body is not the same, the souls still remember each other. Uk didn't love "another girl" if he did, he would love Yun Ok in those 3 years, in his most vulnerable moments. She was with him for years. Uk needs to love Buyeon because only it can prove that he loved Naksu's soul. And that kiss already proved that he noticed her soul and did his move without even he realized that.

They really just had to make me cry every time they recreate scenes from S1. Like damn, a strong sense of déja vu surrounds me. And it also makes the whole storyline much more heartbreaking. I just really wish Uk will recognize Naksu first rather than Naksu recovering her memories first and leaving him before he realizes. Cuz we all know Naksu is gonna feel immense guilt for killing him once and I also think she's gonna be pretty shocked when she remembers she was once a heartless assassin.

I think he already loves her but he haven't realized that yet, since he's still mourning Naksu. Looking to all that he did for her, he can't help himself when it comes to protecting her. Their souls recognize each other. I think it will be amazing once both of them recognize/remember each other!!

@@felicityqueen I agree with you. I wrote that above because I was answering to the kiss scene. Does he know who he was kissing in the end? In a subconscious way, Jang Uk has protected several times Cho Yeong, when he said he wouldn't. So, yes their souls recognize each other. I am waiting for the day that Uk will realize his feelings towards her and not feel conflict about it. Cho Yeong is already in love with him.

I'm enjoying your videos of these two because you get their connection so completely, between the parallels and watching them fall for one another all over again. It's beautiful and haunting to watch your editing but these two have a special place in my favorites because of how much emotion is in every scene. The only other one I can say is similar is the 10 Minute Tomorrow video I unfortunately never could comment on because words were not enough. However I love how the structure for the parallels between them as the story moves forward every 2 episodes. I can feel the longing so clearly.Well done

what a beautiful edit, always like rewatching your aos edits after new episode (and cry a little) ❤️ i still can't decide tho what i prefer more - him recognizing her as soon as possible or him falling in love with her all over again and then realizing that it's the same woman. and i feel like we'll see the second option. he'll marry her for real, take her to the big tree and she'll regain all her memories. I don't know how to feel about the kiss too i think he knew it was buyeon and he kissed her to ease his pain. hope that her comforting him at night would help jang uk to lower his walls a little bit and let her come closer.

i think Cho Yeong is Buyeong's fraternal twin, and they got separated when they were young, they never introduced choyeong's mom but only her dad , and they never introduced buyeon's father, and maybe thats why Jin Ho-kyung named her "second daughter" Cho Yeon so she could not forget about buyeong's twin. 🤯

I still wonder who is the original owner of Naksu's sword, why the King's Star never took its reincarnation in the Seo Family but instead born in Jang Family with the fate of the King's prophesied son...or maybe Seol Ran's soul chose Naksu and Jang Uk to fulfill their duty to protect or destroy the ice stone and Jinyowon (the place where all relics created by the power of the ice stone) in general...Mu Deok/Naksu having regained her power inside the ice stone did not do what Jang Uk has done to make the barrier fall as rain knowing Jang Uk could loose all his energy by doing so...I mean, even if she will be discovered as Naksu after doing it, at least will not be compromising Jang Uk's energy for that matter...I think, Bu Yeon's/Mu Deok's spirit played huge in Naksu and Jang Uk's destiny...Who is the mother of Jin Mu if he was conceived by an affair outside the Jin family, why the Jin (mother of Ho Geong) gave him their NAME Jin to Jin Mu...why was the Words of the Heart not delivered? Is it because Seol Ran died before it reached her? In season 2, Master Lee explained why Jeojinggak was built...I really hope that the Words of the Heart be delivered and fulfilled this time...I am thinking about Jang Uk's promise when they were trapped inside the ice stone...perhaps it has a bearing on the season 2 plot considering that the ice stone controls souls...somehow, if Jang Uk realizes what Mu Deok said before to choose to live than love as ordered by his master, then a possible twist of fate towards the end--if they defy everything but love...Bu Yeon's purpose is to get the ice stone outside Jang Uk which will make him die as Park Jin said...if Jang Uk falls inlove with Bu Yeon as she is, he will be fulfilling what Master Seo Jeong and Jin Seol Ran main purpose in the beginning (the reason why Jinyowon was built) having Jang Uk's power that he refused to use until now for that reason...I will be happy to see that the fate of the King's Star as a lonesome and painful star will be rewarded and will not have the fate of Master Seo Geong and Jin Seol Ran...that love will triumph in the end over the power of the ice stone...divine oneness despite the dualities that the ice stone can make...really hoping for a happy ending really...as the last phrases of the Words of the Heart says "it well up once again"...the mirror of longing, the Yin Yang jade, the Gwiso and other relics created by the power of the ice stone were all manifested through love throughout the series as if love can defy all its power...I am wondering why they were all created in the first place and hidden in Jinyowon...if the founder of Songrim and Jin Seo Ran built Jinyowon, was it because they defied the laws of the universe and that by creating those relics really messed up everything? Perhaps the mages are so afraid of the King's Star (could bring destruction but others believed that its power will save the world)...I am beginning to think that in the end, the protagonists will correct their mistakes in the past---their love (which created all the dualities in both relics and circumstances, even the alchemy of souls was explained in the beginning of season one that it can summon spirits/souls back to their bodies)...it's for us to see in the end...if the ice stone will manifest its greatest power in a new form...transcendence of the essence of love (in all its forms)...I am hoping that the ending will not be like other themes out there---destroying the main symbol/source of power that everyone wants to covet (including Jinyowon), in this case Jang Uk (as the ice stone is in him) as if it was the main thing Master Seo Geong did not do 200 years ago...if it's history repeating itself, having Bu Yeon's power back (if she herself as an ice stone according to the relics), anything could happen even her love will bring Jang Uk back to life or perhaps they will both reincarnate without the powers...truly, the Words of the Heart is the answer to everything (as if power [in all its form] is everywhere...and they will meet again in other circumstances...it may sound like a tragedy in our eyes and understanding, I bet it will be "transcendence and love" in the end...

The youngest daughter is Cho Yeon (without the G at the end). Naksu's original name is Cho YeonG, it was revealed in the first season, when they showed flashbacks of her family massacre. I know it's confusing but I like to use her real name. I hope that in the end she gets to do the same, they robed that from her.
