Yung storyline kasi ng MV umiikot sa story ni Bulan, Bakunawa at Haliya. Alangan namang magshoot sila sa bundok at di sa gilid dagat eh sea-serpent dragon si Bakunawa. Dark yung theme alangan namang magpastel, neon or light colors yung color palette nila. Ganyan talaga pag art may pagkakasimilar pero nagkakaiba sa paggamit ng symbolisms even though they are the same figures. It depends on the interpretation of the artist.

In some fanarts and versions of the story, you will see/read that Haliya's holding a gong as a weapon to shoo away the Bakunawa. Every element of Ken's MV just screams Haliya, Bakunawa and the 7 moons. The sea serpent, the woman in the video.. Haliya.. she is literally the MASKED Moon Goddess, pre-colonial elements, the usage of gold, THE COLOR RED FOR BLOOD MOON. BLACK AND WHITE FOR ECLIPSE. Felip also used elemental themes. Sand for earth, the fire path he was making, Bakunawa being a SEA SERPENT. Everything in the video can be explained, you can even theorize that the short haired version of Ken dancing at the end of the music video is Bulan's reincarnation in modern times. It is impossible to say that Ken copied Lay's MV when you can justify each and every element found in the video. Kumbaga sa research, solid yung RRL/RRS ni Ken. It was so disheartening to see our fellow filipinos drag him down. I was so afraid na baka matabunan lang yung MV ni Ken ng backlash and the message he wants to relay might get buried.

Kapag ba pumorma ako ng parang si Ken na naka all black lagi and takip na takip ang mukha and I use the same style as him but I use a different brand of clothes masasabi bang kinopya ko si Ken or I was just inspired by Ken to dress like that? Think! 🤔

I love you guys! Your reaction to the video is great and your insights on the issue is quite refreshing. Toxic people do get blinded with their emotions that their brains stop working. Anyway, the sad part is this is just a minority and most are Filipinos. What a shame! They don't know who they are, their pre-colonial heritage and think that any foreign influences are better than us ( hence, the colonial mentality). We can actually compete in this world by not limiting ourselves to the naysayers. I love that Felip has been taking the risks (and SB19) to prove to the world that we have a rich culture and a lot of advanced thinkers in the Philippines. We have to protect those who really value this country and the caliber of representations they do.

As always, love your reaction and take on the issue! To be honest I was surprised to see this issue circulation on Twt a couple of days ago. I stayed quiet because I’m not familiar with the song they’re comparing it to. But the fact that FELIP & Bulan is being talked about just means FELIP & Bulan is very relevant. Helloh my OT3,. here's a take away from Felip: "Bulan" talks about recognizing that powerful being within you and not letting other people consume your light. It shows the darker, more confrontational side of self-love. Because sometimes, the negativity gets too loud to ignore and the only way to get rid of it is to acknowledge the power that you hold and face it head-on.
