You can really see that Ken is where he belongs. He is totally himself with his sb19 brothers. I think his solo endeavors he is Felip and his image there is much different. But also I think he has to come out of his shell a lot when he does solos. He doesn’t have the luxury to have his group mates take over the mike; the fan service and we all know he isn’t the type to be always happy go lucky , talkative, and just thoroughly comfortable amongst a lot of people. So I think it is good for all of them to have a creative platform all their own but at the end of it all sb19 is their comfort zone and their home . That is why for me who have seen their journey from the beginning even before each of of them had the chance to put out their own music and do solo projects I will always be an ot5 who loves and support them equally as a group and their individual projects.

Sisiw- you’re pronouncing the letter sounds right but the stress should be on the first syllable. :) Tiny tidbit that’s fun and can get lost in translation: in Ligaya, Ken’s verse mentions reconciling with his past, but the “past” there also has a second meanin: his ex 😂 That’s why the boys go “Wehhhh, di nga!” in the background. Okay, so “ligaya” and “saya” are like joy and happiness. They pretty much mean the same thing but there’s nuance that you’ll understand better the more you practice them. Ligaya/kaligayahan is like a deep joy. (It’s in LIHAM! “Ligaya ng aking mundo”). It’s also what we use for merry/happy Christmas-Maligayang Pasko. It’s not always something we’ll use in casual conversation, like if someone asks how you are, you probably won’t say “maligaya”-the adjective conjugation of ligaya-to say that you’re happy. And then “masaya” (the adjective version of “saya”) is happy/fun and more casually used. Like if someone asks how your trip was, you can say “masaya!” or “ang saya!”(It was fun!) Merry Munchkin is DD’s Christmas commercial jingle in the early 2000s, Dunkin asked the boys to update it for the current audience and BOY did they! Have a great day and happy new year, Mel!
