The fact that bands like Ghost are still making great 80's music that's more than just covers gives me hope for the future of music. The album art also has that strong 80's vibe to it. If there was a horror film with practical effects this should be in the sound track for it.

Blue Oyster Cult was notorious for their heavy keyboards mixed with hauntingly beautiful melodies. Check out Joan Crawford and Dancin' In the Ruins for starters and go from there. You will see the similarities.
