Even if he had cried earlier, it's very normal for a 4+ or 5 yo to do so. I was expecting him to take it out on them when they returned home. I was even waiting for a tantrum and believe me, I wouldn't blame him for doing it, being a child so young. Obviously, he didn't. He was more of a man than you will ever be a woman (guessing by your name). He is definitely MORE intelligent than you and therefore, can accept the family's trip without him. I am sure the father explained to him things and reasons for this trip. Inheriting his parents' good genes, he took it very well. If Felista had waited for the holidays, it wouldn't be conducive for grandpa or Xiao's baby. Grandpa would have found it too crowded and uncomfortable. It would be packed and just waiting to buy the admission tickets into the tourist attraction sites would take hours in the long queue. It was best to go off season mainly for grandpa's sake . He is 82 or 83 and time is NOT on his side. They wanted him to have a break from his hard life and make him happy, as well as allow him to see and experience the things he has never done before at a LEISURELY and COMFORTABLE pace. They wanted him to enjoy the trip and not be agitated or flustered at the jostling crowd of tourists. They wanted him to have beautiful memories. Dou Dou in the meantime is young and will have many opportunities to go on holidays. Hopefully, my explanation will knock some common sense into you.

Malli: Parents don't always take their kids along with them when travelling. They often leave them with the grandparents. I'm guessing that Doudou's father stayed at home to babysit Doudou and build the new house. Btw, grandpa is old and doesn't sound like he's that healthy. Did they say that he has high blood pressure and it was better for him to take the train instead of a plane?

Doudou is really something else. He is beautiful, kind, gentle, well-behaved, funny. He is just everything you would hope for in a child. I always love watching them all but he just completely stole my heart in this episode. Then you have Fei'er comforting her mother after her ordeal and doing her 'old person' walk. I also love the relationship between Felista and the beautiful wife of Zeng (sorry, don't know her name). They are all just lovely, lovely people!

Looks like the family had a wonderful time together. So happy to see them enjoying the beautiful sights, shopping, tasting/eating various types of food. Hahahaha Phyllis was tricked into tasting 臭豆腐， she didn't like the taste and suffered momentarily. Dou Dou's reaction when he welcome his mom was priceless. No tantrums and no tears, only too happy to his mom and sister. And he is very happy with all the presents. The new coat looks great on him. Laoli was patient to teach him how to play the spin top. I love Dou Dou, he is so smart and matured. Love how Xiao Zhen and Laoli in caring for the family. We need more young people like them who respect the elderly and so helpful to them too. Grandpa looks refreshed and younger. The short break did wonders for him 😂❤❤❤❤❤
