I am so touched that Lawu had chosen the right guy. Her parents in law are very kind and good people. Phyllis advised her sister after confinement needs to help out with cooking and housework. She (Phyllis) told aunty. But aunty said no need at the moment. Just needs to take good care of the baby boy. When the baby boy is bigger, she will teach Lawu some Chinese cooking. Really a very good and kind mother-in-law. Phyllis is a kind and thoughtful sister. Good upbringing by her parents.

Some of these comments are annoying. Like, I'm pretty sure if not for language barrier, Felista and Lawu's mom would agree about Lawu helping out in the house. If you studied their mother in Tanzania, she was running the household and managing the oil-press before she left. Felista is very smart and can see things/opportunities before others do. She thinks far and wide. How do you guys think she got to this level in China? From just luck alone? There is a reason why she is making this comment. We only see what they show us. Although Felista is younger, doesn't mean that she isn't wiser. She has nothing to be jealous of. She came to China and paved a way through HARD WORK. Then even went back to Tanzania and did the same thing. Her sister should be allowed to recover, but saying things like she is jealous of Lawu is ridiculous. You guys see a video full of love and manage to bring negativity.

I’m thankful that Lawu has gotten into such a nice family. I’m not sure why Felista is so concerned about Lawu helping with chores, she just had a cesarean section and is taking care of the baby. This is not easy for her. I’m so glad Lawu’s mother-law let her know that Lawu will be taking care of herself and the baby and she will do the cooking etc… I want Lawu to heal and take care of herself. Lawu has such a beautiful spirit that is why she is blessed with such a good husband and family.

True. Ceserarian birth is not easy for some black women and that is why Lawu mother looked concerned when she visited Lawu at the hospital. The mother in law is wide and gave good advice.

Sherry, you are correct. Lawu is so blessed, her in-laws all love her dearly. She is being cared for in a manner that Felli isn't accustom too. Because she married into a family of men. She wants her sister to be more like her, and their mom both strong hard workers. Which I'm sure if and when necessary Lawu will do her share. With the help of her wonderful husband all will be well. Lawu looks a bit down (sad) and overwhelmed. She should know it is very normal after every baby to feel that way. Post Natal depression is common. I had it after all 3 of my babies. But it gets better Lawu. ❤

I think Feli brings up the subject to Lawu about helping with chores after confinement is for people to not ridicule and label her as lazy. Grandma shut it down immediately and said.... Lawu is to take care of the baby!!!! If you can understand the language, you heard it with your own ears. If you can't understand the language, you read it with your own eyes. Also, Feli's husband DuBin accompanied them to visit Lawu and KaiKai

Agreed, if anyone sees the old videos of Lawu and her sisters in Tanzania, they were doing housework, cooking and cleaning, collecting water from the well, harvesting crops etc. That's a lot of work! Give Lawu time in her new life in China, she has moved across the world, learning a new language and culture, and has just had her first child after a C section surgery. Goodness me, that's a lot within a year. With such a loving caring family she is going to do so well in her new life.❤

Je me demande surtout si Felista n'est pas en train de s'inquiéter de la dépendance totale de Lawu envers sa belle-famille. Lawu une femme intelligente qui apprendra vite, et la langue et la cuisine et les coutumes, et elle s'intégrera rapidement, si on lui en laisse l'opportunité. Fili est une femme vive et indépendante et intelligente,Lawu est une personne qui se laisse intimidé par sa belle-mère,on dirait qu'elle veut contrôler sa belle fille qui elle réagit pas, telle une petite fille à qui on dit quoi faire ,cette belle mère enfantillise trop sa belle fille . I think it is normal that Feli gave that suggestion.because she does not want someone else , like fans or neighbours to think her big sister is lazy. If Lawa want to fit into the Chinese society, and take care of her future family. It is right to start learning to do the house chores once she is recovered. Bonjour a tous, effectivement une femme qui vient d accoucher doit IMPERATIVEMENT se reposer parcequ elle a encore des plaits dans le ventre si se n est pas guéris, elle peut faire une hémorragie. Sa soeur veut bien faire, raison pour laquelle elle demande d aider sa belle mère. Mais vu que la belle mère est aussi une maman pour les deux, elle l a rassurer en lui disant que lawu a le temps d apprendre a cuisiner. Lawu's MIL is the best. She knows that Lawu is a blessing to her family. Lawu doesn't need to prove her place by appearing to be helpful. She married her son and gave them another precious grandchild. Feli didn't have this experience so she might be projecting. Lawu had her belly cut open a week ago. Don't criticize her right now. It isnt helpful in any way.

We agree Lawu needs to recuperate. Not sure why people missed Felista telling Lawu to take good care of herself, or that she said "After confinement" which in their culture is at least 40 days, and that she told Lawu's mother-in-law that she wanted Lawu to have a good confinement then afterwards she would be helpful.

@VRZhihui I don't think people missed her whole statement. It's the fact that she included helping Lawu's mother in law in the same statement. I think its the timing that is off. When you tell someone about work while they're recuperating, it can make them feel guilty about being unwell. Plus Lawu had a C-section which requires way more caution than normal delivery.

Felista very understanding and telling Lawu to help to do house work after her confinement period.Lawu will be busy caring for her small baby.Hopefully her mother in law will let her do a bit of housework and don’t spoil her too much.❤❤❤

Precisely!! Since she got married, Lawu's lovely mother in law hasn't allowed her to do any housework even when Lawu wanted to do so which though it's kind and loving of her is not the best for Lawu. And I think Felista has been a bit worried about that as the elder sister and "mother figure" for Lawu in China as she wants Lawu to be more " Felial" as they put it.

Lawu is lucky to marry into a kind family. The in laws & hubby takes good care of her during n after pregnancy. Never see her do any housework or attempt to learn to cook chinese dishes. Eat n sleep n go shopping. Felista is warning her sister not to take things for granted. Wonder if Tazanian woman got such good life during n after pregnancy? Always see the husband at home. No need to work to earn money since now have child?

Yes Tanzanian women get such good life too. There are wealthy ones and in Africa your mom or sister can come stay and care for you for 40 days after baby. I do agree though with Feli's advice for Lawu not to get comfortable or take it for granted. Lawu has to work and bring to the table either through house chores or something. Feli came to China and through her hard work, she raised two kids, built a house, KZbin channel and brought her family over and is sending money home too. She didn't achieve all that by sleeping and eating. It's also not nice to watch others cook and feed you and you do nothing
